Another Great MOE Day!

I did not get up at 4am... but was up at 5:10 and out for my run by 6:33! I did 70 minutes and 10k! YIPPY!

I took a very quick shower and after Alan came home to take Mom down, I went out the door! I got to work at 9:02! YEAH!

There was nothing to edit and I brought work to do and a book to read! Absolutely delightful!

The topic of discussion for class today was ADOPTION! Wow... what an interesting discussion! Time was not enough!

In the afternoon, I watched the short movie, the Insanity of God and I will use some of that for my talk on the Heart of God.

I was out of the office by 5:02 and went to World Gym. I did not sit in the sauna. I did not take a shower. I was there for 20 minutes and headed back home. I had to get money and go and pick up things that I had ordered! There are more stuff coming... Annie... you are going to be happy!

No tutoring tonight! YIPPY!

But prayer time at 9:30.

Daily Lovely Insight:

At work, I found a free copy of the short documentary movie, the Insanity of God. Here is one quote that struck me. The reason why I was interested in this movie is because I'm preparing the message, the Heart of God, attempting to answer the question: What makes God weep?

“Those who number themselves among the followers of Jesus—but don’t witness for Him—are actually siding with the Taliban, the brutal regime that rules North Korea, the secret police in communist China, and the Somalis and Saudi Arabias of the world. Believers who do not share their faith aid and abet Satan’s ultimate goal of denying others access to Jesus. Our silence makes us accomplices.”

Another Great Tuesday Study!

Today I was up super super early... I don't know if I can keep this up, but it sure was nice! With the summer heat, getting up at 5am was NICE! I had my time with Jesus and went out for a run and was home by 7:30. Tomorrow, I'm going to attempt getting up at 4am!

After Mom left, I went to World Gym for the 'usual' -- sauna, shower, machines!

I was home by 9:45 and air frying the chicken and getting things set up for our Study. We had six ladies and a wonderful discussion on I Samuel 17: 38-40. Don't let other's expectations weigh you down!

I cleaned up and went out to pay the bill and renew my book at the library. I was home by 3:30!

Time to work before Mom gets back! I steamed this 'cake'... with banana, milk powder, oatmeal and chocolate chips. Of course, I added flour and sugar, eggs, butter, honey, etc. That's what I'll be bringing to the MOE tomorrow. It smells and looks great!

Daily Lovely Insight:

I was reading about Jerome of Prague. Here is one of his quotes:

Finally... A PR Day... Partly Productive... Partly Restful!

After Mom went off, I cleaned a bit... I wanted to get out, only because it was going to get hotter and hotter.

I wanted to wash the bedding that was given for donation and see if there can be donated. The result: some pieces cleaned up well!

I was out the door finally by 10am. I went to World Gym, and the Lord knew I needed to be there at that particular time. A gal I have met there was needing someone to pray for her! I arrived just as she was finishing up drying her hair. We were able to chat and I prayed for her. I then dropped off my stuff and was on the River Running Path by 10:45. It was hot... I did my 10k. I was back at World Gym for sauna and shower and then did a few machines.

It felt good to be home as there was no noise at 12:30. I napped... FOR TWO WHOLE HOURS! I made myself a nice salad and then it was time to go off to drop off donation. YEAH... My car is empty once again!

I was home by 4pm.

Time to turn on the WiFi and check emails.

Tomorrow is my Tuesday Bible study, so I will be cooking tonight. I bought potatoes and carrots and other veggies. I have chicken defrosted! I'm also going to make some curry rice! And without my Thursday Soochow Study, I only need to bake for the MOE!

Tap dancing tonight... I didn't stay for the whole time. I wanted to come home early to get some stuff done.

A Blessed Pentacost Sunday!

The Holy Spirit dwells within... so I think Pentecost is every day!

Come Holy Spirit, Come!

I got up early... and after my quiet time, I sorted through the box of stuff and gave away a foldable table! YEAH!

I got Mom up and she had a Chinese bun instead of oatmeal! Alan came home from tennis. Isaiah went off for brunch with Vikki. I went to World Gym -- dreadmill and sauna! Of course, a few machines and a shower!

I was home and an hour later, we were off to church. Isaiah rode his scooter there directly. I was the translator this evening for the missionary who works with international students in the States. We also had two newcomers.

Love Feast was dinner boxes... from Alan's favorite place!

We were home by 7pm and had Family Time at 7:30.

YEAH!

Activity Filled Saturday!

I was up early... as I wanted to fit in a run and a workout before getting Mom up! It was also nicer to run earlier as it wasn't that hot.

Mom's breakfast is always oatmeal with raisins or a banana! Lunch is rice with veggies and I try to cut down on her dinner!

Alan and Isaiah played tennis and then Isaiah joined a more competitive tournament that was all day.

I stayed home with Mom and Alan went to watch the games!

Tonight, we went to the Heritage of Love Concert. And the CKS Memorial had a big pentecost event! We didn't go!

A Very Hot Day!

Even with the heat, I went out... And thanks to Pam, I took salt tablets before and after! That helps a lot! And I always eat before I exercise!

Mom went off and I did too... A run in the sun and a quick workout. Plus, I love sitting in the sauna before going to take a shower!

Then at 12:15, Alan and I were home and ready to have lunch together. We found a nice steak house and had time to catch up.

Today, after lunch, we went off to shop for all the goods on Annie and Abby's list! Wow... I also ordered lots of stuff on line and will be picking up the stuff next week. For the pineapple cakes, I will go to the store to buy as the prices are the same and there is no free delivery unless I order 200US$ worth of pineapple cakes!

We got home at 4:30 and Mom was home soon after!

Isaiah also came home!

I spent the evening working on things after Mom went to bed! The weekend has started... And I'm feeling tired just thinking about it! I sure do need the Pentecostal Spirit! That's this weekend. 50 Days after Christ Resurrected and the Wait of the Promised Holy Spirit becomes a reality!

Daily Lovely Insight:

For my message prep, I found a beautiful 'love letter from God the Father' which I will share in Part I of the Heart of God.

The question I starts with comes from the shortest verse: Jesus wept. What would make Jesus weep today? If God looks at the churches today... Are there Pharisees? Are there lack of faith? And just at this time, the Lord brought to my path the book, Jesus > Religion! It's a very interesting book... I quite like it! I like it's honesty!

As a shepherd carries a lamb, I have carried you close to my heart.

The Final Study for This School Year!

Well... it was a hectic day...

Isaiah had a 'sign the contract' luncheon. As soon as he left, I was out the door for my run as the pounding started. I finished the run and got home. I picked up my bag and was out the door. I went to shower at World Gym Express. I sat in the sauna for 10 minutes and had time only to workout on three machines. I was at Soochow by 12:50!

We sang two songs... This Little Light of Mine and How Great Is Our God. We finished Proverbs 4 and we had time in the last 10 minutes to share our prayer requests and pray!

I was rushing home as I stayed to talk to the students. I wanted to drop off a vacuum cleaner. If it's too expensive to fix, the shop will toss it for me. I also stopped to look for contacts for Abby. I will also start order pineapple cakes and other snacks for Annie and Abby.

I got back just before Mom got home!

After Mom was in bed, I went to pick up a Bible and then had tutoring at 7:30!

That finished at 8:30 and I was working on my message prep.

How did the day go by so quickly?

Another Great MOE Day!

After Mom left, I took off. I got there by 9:05!

Nothing to edit... I did a bit of class prep, so I'm ready for the next two weeks. I brought my Bible study to do, but since we had to cancel for this week, I was in no hurry to finish the lesson. This study has a lot of homework!

Class was at 12:30 and we again had a great discussion. When that was finished, I wrote my usual email and at 2:10 went out for my quick walk. I found the battery for a watch, which I can replace on my own. The watch place wanted 150NT$ for the battery! It was only 40NT$. Of course, I could have purchased it on line, but then the postage was 40NT$.

I walked back and had office hour!

That was finished by 4:10 and I was out of the office by 5:10.

I went to World Gym and did a treadmill walk/run and a couple of machines. I went to pick up two free books from a gal who is moving back to the States. Jesus > Religion, by Jefferson Bethke! He made a YouTube video with a poem he wrote and he became an overnight sensation. Interesting... I never heard of him or the poem or his book...

I was home by 8:30 and tidied up around the house.

No tutoring tonight... YEAH!

Upstairs Ruckus!

It wasn't a party kind of ruckus but the remodeling kind... Wow... three minutes and my mind was blown. That noise can drive me bonkers!

After Mom left, I was just getting things in order when it started... I had to get out of the house! I went to RTMart and bought toothpaste. That was the special for today. I came home, and put things away and got my workout gears and food. I was out the door again.

I went to World Gym and since the weather was so perfect, I really wanted to go for a nice long run... Why not? I can't go home! But by the 12th kilometer, my watch was running out of battery... WAHHHHHH... I ended my run with only 16km. The watch is now being charged!

Back to World Gym... I sat in the sauna, had a nice shower, and came home at 3:30. The noise had stopped! Praise Jesus!

I started dinner and wanted to work on my talks... that was the original plan, but I can't be in the house with that pounding. It's going to be for about three days as they are tearing out both bathrooms and knocking down walls. Once that's done, I'll be able to stay home and work.

Isaiah accepted the position at NanShan and probably won't be teaching at Soochow... Oh well...

I didn't have Bible study this evening.

After Mom went to bed, I had time to work on my talks. I also baked for MOE and Soochow Bible study!

Daily Lovely Insight:

I'm reading through Nehemiah right now and I found this prayer based on Nehemiah 8:10:

Heavenly Father, thank You that You are my joy and my strength. Thank You that there is no condemnation to those that are in Christ Jesus and that Your grace is sufficient for me. Keep me faithful to You, for You are my faithful and generous God. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

“Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

A Packed Monday...

Yes, as soon as Mom was off, I tidied up the house and took off for RTMart. I got the oatmeal -- 3kgs for 2.50US$. YEAH! And I also bought meat. When I got home, I put some of the meat in the freezer and used one packet to make dinner for Alan and Isaiah. I got Mom's dinner ready as well.

Then I was out the door to run and do my usual workout. But I didn't have my 20 minutes on the machines as I had to rush off to tutor!

Tutoring went long and I was home just before 4pm.

I had prayer time with a sister at 4pm.

As soon as we said, AMEN, the phone rang. Mom was back. Alan was home, so he went down to get her. YEAH!

Dinner turned out really good... I will have to make it again! I used the sauce to make rice! That will be for tomorrow!

I had tap tonight and I came home early, hoping that we'd have Family Time at 9pm! But we don't know what happened to Abby. Well... after an hour, she wrote and said she fell asleep. So, we started Family Time at 10 and didn't finish until 11:30!

Daily Lovely Insight:

Here is a contrast between the wise and the foolish:

Wise Person                            Foolish Person

Fruitfulness                              Barrenness

Vision                                      Dead Ends

Influential                                Being influenced

Maturity                                   Stagnation

Leading others                         Wandering aimlessly

Hope-filled                               Despair ridden

As you read Proverbs, you can add to this list!

A Good Sunday!

We were all up early. Alan and Isaiah went to play tennis. I was able to go to World Gym and do a walk outside as well as a walk on the treadmill. Then I sat in the sauna and took a quick shower before heading home. Alan was already home as Isaiah went to play at Soochow with the alumni.

I got Mom up and she had breakfast!

I worked on my first talk from Proverbs 13. I am going to just focus on this one chapter and use three perspectives: stewardship of our mouth, stewardship of our goods and stewardship of our time. I'm still working through these three main perspectives. There are so many nuggets of wisdom from that one chapter. I just want the people to grasp and apply. Please pray.

I have also started to prepare for my HOP talks. I'm going to use the words, Jesus Wept, to look at the heart of God and apply that to our lives.

Anyhow, we were out the door by 2:15 to pick up the guitar and then off to church.

Isaiah led worship today.

It was a wonderful service!

And I am going back to learn how to play the bongo drums. I had lessons when I was in elementary school and now I'd like to pick it up again.

Daily Lovely Insight:

Oh... after the service, the triathletes approached me. They'd like for me to try to run a sub 4... that means do a full marathon under 4 hours... YIKES!

Cooler Saturday!

Yes, it rained early this morning. Alan and Isaiah tried to go and play tennis, but after three minutes, they were in the car, waiting for the rain to stop. It didn't. So they were home.

Since they were home, I went to World Gym and ran. But the rain stopped! Wahh.... I did 10k and sat in the sauna. After my shower, I did the machines for 20 minutes and was home.

Yes, Mom care... She enjoyed all the food...

There isn't much for her to do... She listened to Chinese Poems and Bible reading!

Isaiah went for a massage this evening. And Alan and I had the Discipleship Training Program at church. I was scheduled to translate, but we only had a total of 6 people. So, we just sat and had the training, very casual.

I spent the afternoon doing a load of wash and preparing for the sermons in July and August!

The day again flew by!

The Rain... The Run...

Yes, it was pouring down rain... but the temperature was still quite warm. How glorious to go run... after I did a load of wash and cleaned up things. It was already 10am. I couldn't go too far as Alan and I were to have our date... The forecast says, RAIN TOMORROW... so... I hope to go out for another run in the rain!

Alan and I went to an all you can eat hot pot place that's right by our house. It was delicious. We stuffed ourselves... and then we went over to the new mall. Very luxurious with an ice skating rink on the top floor. Two hours for 380NT$!

We were home by 4:30 and I laid down... and before you know it, the phone rang... Mom was home! Wow... that was a power nap, for sure!

Isaiah heard back from NanShan with an offer and will have to make a decision by next Tuesday. Supposedly, the starting salary will be 67,000 (about 2200US$/month) and it's a two-year 'internship'. He is thinking of accepting it! The company is under RuenTex and is quite a huge corporation with a very long history. You can google it if you're interested.

The rain stopped... but it should start up again tomorrow... I HOPE!

And tonight I have started to prepare for the many messages that I am scheduled to preach in July and August!

Soochow Bible Study! Proverbs 3 -- wisdom, instructions, discretion, understanding...

I was up super early... I think it's because the weather is getting warmer... and the sun is up earlier...

After Mom left, I headed out to RTMart. They remodeled and have a grand opening WEEK. Each day, with any purchase, you can had an added purchase for a very low price. So, I wanted the rice! And I got a 3 kgs bag for 3US$! Yeah! I also bought a few other things. Then I stopped at my veggie and fruit stall on the way home.

I had to get out for a run as I had Bible study at 1pm and I told a gal I'd be there early.

I ran 10k, which was all I could do... yes, it was hot!

For Mother's Day, residence in our area could pick up a soup pot and rice. The soup pots were all gone, but I went and got a bag of rice! I now have three bags of rice... all in one day!

The members for the Bible study were all late... but we had a great discussion and finished Chapter 3 of Proverbs! Next week will be our last time for this school year! And I have decided that I will try to play the cajon! I'll have one week to learn some basics.

The school will be having final exams, starting on June 5th. Oh, graduation is on June 4th. Everyone is quite excited because for there were no graduation ceremony for the past two years! Finally...

I went to World Gym and came home. I had to make some dinner for Alan and Isaiah. They will stay at school and play basketball and be back home by 9pm.

Mom was home... Sorry to say, but I always think she comes back way too early. I still have so many things I didn't get done!

Tonight, I walked the metal bathroom rack down to give to a student who needed it... and then I went back to World Gym and sat in the sauna and took a shower. I didn't have time earlier...

A Much Better MOE Day!

Last week I was just wiped out... Today was much better.

I had no article to edit.

I had no event to host.

I did not need to go around the entire department and ask each person about their mom or see their sadness.

I had class at 12:30.

I had Office Hours at 2pm. I cleaned and organized the Room where I have Office Hours to chat with the students. It looks so much better!

This morning, I was late in getting to work because I didn't leave until 8:35. But I was out of the Office by 5:20 and headed to World Gym Express.

I went on the treadmill as I did not go out for a walk. While on the treadmill, I watched the last part of the movie, Miss Potter. It was absolutely delightful! And I also gave myself time to sit in the sauna for 10 minutes. I showered, got dressed, went to fill up my gas tank for my scooter, return a library book, and was home by 8:15.

I had to tidy up the house and put things away.

Oh... I didn't have tutoring... another reason why today was so different from last week.

Great Tuesday!

This morning after Mom left, I started preparing for my morning Bible study. I had made ricotta rice and salad. One lady brought Hainan Chicken. Another made a lemon cake. Another had sliced guava. We had a great time, sharing and looking at I Samuel 17:37-42.

After they left, I cleaned up and laid down for a short nap before heading out in the heat for a short run and a short workout. I was back by 4:40, which gave me time to take a shower and get Mom's food heated up. Isaiah came back from his interviews and was downstairs to pick Mom up.

HsinKwang was a difficult interview. He is most likely hired for NanShan, but that's an insurance company. I'm praying that he will work at Soochow and continue with his job search and don't take the job with NanShan.

I forgot to mention that I had cracked the pattern lock on the tablet and the activation lock on the iPad. I'm getting quite good at this... ha, ha, ha...

I decided not to bake for MOE as the Mother's Day gift on Sunday was a box of exquisite dessert. So, I think I'll just bring those!

Alan had night school.

I used the rest of the evening to clean and post things to give away!

Laundry, Tutoring, Praying... But No Tap Tonight! Good Time to REST!

The morning started super early...

I wanted to put the ribs in the electric crock pot and a load of laundry started...

Plus, I had my time with Jesus!

Then it was time to get Mom up and out...

The ribs cooked nicely... and the clothes were finished.

I went to WGE and ran 12k! The weather was too hot for my liking...

I rushed home... and checked my Line messages...

OK... yesterday at church a group of 'athletes' asked if I wanted to join next year Triathlon. I'd be the runner... it's swim, bike and run. For the 226, which means I'd be running 42k. It won't be on a Sunday and the group usually leaves on Friday. As long as I finish... no problem. Well... they needed my information. But I'm not on the slow team... the two fast athletes didn't get into the individual 113! It was completely filled in less than 12 hours as registration opened last night! So... these two elite athletes are the swimmer and biker... and I'm their runner! WHAT?!?!?!?! It's a mixed team, so they needed a girl! We have another team which also needs a girl. The other two athletes registered for the 51.5 individual, which is half of the 113... the run is only 10.7k and the bike part is 45k. It's next April... the end of April... I won't have time to train... so as long as I finish, I'll be happy! I guess that will be my 'race' for 2024!

I got to my tutoring on time... Praise the Lord!

And Elaine came over and we had another marvelous time of sharing and praying together. Mom was home and I cut her hair and gave her a shower tonight as I didn't have tap dancing!

Alan and Isaiah came home and they both loved the ribs...

What A Sunday... Happy Mother's Day!

Isaiah made me a card... and wrote a very poetic poem. He is quite talented. Abby said that her card is in progress... and I'll get it in June! YIPPY!

Alan and Isaiah came back early. Mom was up and eating breakfast. They watched her so that I can walk to WGE. I was hoping to take a nice long time there... but I went to Carrefour first and ran into someone from the Gym. We stood there and talked for 45 minutes. She had been wanting to talk to me... I invited her to church and prayed for her there at the supermarket!

Needless to say, I didn't have time at WGE. I put everything I bought in a locker and walked home. It was too heavy to carry and I was now in a rush to get back.

I got home and in less than 30 minutes, we were ready to go off to church... where did the day go?

I was the translator for the Mother's Day speaker!

It was a beautiful message, encouraging us to battle through prayer for our children, our family and our circumstances. Do not give up. Do not give in to anxiety. Do not focus on the circumstances.

We were home by 7:30 and I got Mom to bed and worked to put everything away.

We had Family Time at 8:00 and afterwards, I went to WGE and picked up everything!

It was a very long day!

This week... never mind... You know what I'm going to say!

Another Grateful Day!

I was up early and after time with Jesus, I decided to go back to bed... What a rare treat!

I got Mom up and worked on tidying up the house. There is always more to do...

Alan went to play tennis, but Isaiah decided to stay home. And since he was home, I went out to get my scooter's smog test done and to buy mayonnaise as we had a birthday party this evening. We were assigned to bring salads and veggies.

I had bought the veggies on Friday, so I just needed to make the hard boiled eggs and salad dressing and put everything together.

After Alan got home, I went off to WGE and did my 10k run! The weather was so perfect!

Isaiah had afternoon tea with a gal who was in the UK. She is also back in Taiwan, looking for a job. Isaiah heard back from China Trust. He didn't make it to the next level. That was his first choice, but we knew it was very competitive!

Mom went to bed and we took off. The party started early, but we told the host that we'd be late. It was a lot of fun hanging out and chatting with our old friends. Isaiah joined us at 8pm!

Grateful...

I am grateful to all who read my blog yesterday and who prayed for me...

Today was completely different... and thankfully so as we had a lot to get done!

Yes, it was our Date... Alan went and played tennis and I went to WGE and did a 10k run! I sat in the sauna, which was so relaxing!

We met up at home at 11:30 and headed out.

First, Coco, then lunch!

After lunch, we scootered over to the Nangang Exhibition Hall as they had a display of old photos. There was also a mini concert for free, but we missed that.

At 2pm, we headed to the Tax Office... yes, it's that time again! Alan really wanted to get that done. We got there just before 3:00... number 137 and they were at 120! After a 40 minute wait, our number was called!

By 4:40, we knew we weren't going to be finished! So, I messaged the Day Care Center and told them that we'd be picking Mom up! That's the problem... There is always so much to get done and our time is so limited!

We will be getting a 5,000NT$ refund! YEAH!

Alan dropped me off at the Center and I got Mom. I had a sandwich with me. She ate that while we waited. Alan went home to get the car.

After Mom got settled in bed, I took a 30 minute nap as I had planned to talk to Abby tonight! It was nice to finally catch up!

Isaiah was at Soochow and met up with Vikki for dinner!

Daily Lovely Insight:

Feeling Groggy All Day...

It was really weird... I just felt drained... like I was sleep walking most of the day. All I wanted to do was SLEEP! I'd be up and put in a load of laundry and I laid down. I get up to hang the laundry and be back laying down again. This went on throughout the entire morning. And I thought, how am I going to get through my afternoon Bible study at Soochow?!?!?!

The Lord was most faithful... He sustained me and we had a wonderful time discussing Proverbs 3. We didn't finish!

I stopped by WGE and stayed for less than 20 minutes and was home... on the sofa... resting!

I fixed Mom's dinner and she was home. While she ate, I rested!

After she went to bed, I went out for a short walk... And I had Bible study online at 8:30.

Alan and Isaiah were at school. They both stayed to play basketball.

I think I overly exhausted myself yesterday... I didn't run... I think all the events at the MOE just wiped me out... praying for all those hurting people who lost their mom...

Another Long Day at the MOE... Longer Than Usual...

I arrived at work before 9am. YEAH!

But it was a day with so much happening... I turned on the computer and I had an article to edit. Then I wanted to prep for my class, but was pulled away with details for the Mother's Day Event! At 10:15, the supervisor wanted us upstairs to start setting up... Why do we need 45 minutes to set up?!?!?! But up we went...

At 11, the event started and it finished at 12:10. I had class at 12:30. Alan was over at the National Health Insurance Office, so I ran over as he had brought a tablet that I had forgotten at home! I didn't get it fixed!

When class finished at 1:33, I barely had time to send the email to the students and rushed down to have Office Hours... I could barely keep my eyes opened... Two students and it was for more than an hour! I was back at my desk at 3:30, but the supervisor wanted me to go around the entire department and ask each employee a question or two in English. We had extra gifts, so she wanted to surprise them. Well... several of the ladies cried because they had lost their mother early in life... I was giving out hugs and praying for these wonderful people. One lady lost her mother 30 years ago when she was only 5. Still talking about it today, she cried! I wanted to stay and talk to each of them, but my supervisor kept rushing me on. Several of the employees thanked me for the dessert I make each week.

I was back at my desk by 4:50, packing up to go home, when my assistant talked to me. They have found someone to take over for me... but that teacher is going to the States this summer. Can I continue until September? Yes, I can go to the States, but will I teach the next session from July 6th to August 30th? What can I say? So... June 7th will not be my last week. I will go in on June 14th, take two weeks off, and be back in the office on July 5th. I'm not sure if I am happy about extending my work at the MOE. But what can I do???

I went to World Gym Express and did a walk on the treadmill then worked out on three machines. I was just too exhausted to do more. I took a quick shower and sat in the sauna. That was super nice!

I had tutoring at 8pm and prayer time with Alan at 9:30 and another sister at 9:45.

I was so ready for bed... It's going to be another early morning tomorrow... Maybe I will have time to sleep in... But that's only a dream...

A PR Day... the Productive Kind!

Yes, after Mom left, I started baking... banana chocolate chips muffins and a bread. When that was finished, since the oven was on, I made dinner for the next two days as tomorrow is my MOE Wednesday! This way, Alan and Isaiah can have dinner and I can also have dinner for Mom ready!

It was 10:30 when that was all finished! I then sat and read before heading out to WGE. The weather was cool and absolutely delightful.

When I got back, I had an hour before I had to head out to drop off the donation. So, I logged on to YouTube and found a video about how to break the activation lock on an iPad. Yes, Ariel gave me her old iPad, which she can't recall the password or the activation email address or password. After bypassing the password as she gave me several to try, the activation lock was a lot more difficult. But it worked... It's not set up for me to use, but at least I can now listen to music or do google search on it! YEAH!

I dropped off the donation and now the car is cleaned again. And I was back 10 minutes before Mom came home. So, I had time to get her dinner and medication, etc. ready and the phone rang!

My evening Bible study was postponed as three sisters got the shingles vaccine and were not feeling well. Low grade fever and fatigue! I needed a free evening!

After Mom went to bed, I finished up a few chores!
