The blood mobile was right at the Miramar Mall... and they were giving away movie tickets. We want to go to the movies on Christmas day... so with Alan and I, we got three tickets! Plus the two I got last time, we have five total! Perfect! We went early, so no wait!
We came back and Mom had been up... She was up almost all night and was doing the flushing the toilet thing again!
Mom had her meal and watched just one episode of Little House and was tired again! She went and laid down and rested. I rested, too!
At 2:15, we left for church. Alan was sharing and I helped to translate for the testimonies. Love Feast was curry... yummy! And the dear sister made carrot cake!
After we got home, Abby and Alan watched TV while I prepped for the White Elephant Party. Set the schedule, the songs, the table arrangements, called the restaurant... I also did another load of clothes!
Daily Lovely Insight:
Alan focused on the attributes of God and took the time for people to meditate on 10 of the attributes. The service was such a blessing from the rush of the holiday season. With nice instrumental music playing, we just took the time to think and then we prayed out loud! The service was very different from most other Christmas church worship. I think God used the time to speak to all of us!
