Using Skype to "Tutor"...

Yes, I now have two students via Skype... It takes time to get used to... I have to use another tablet or large sheet of poster papers plus markers... But it worked... So, for the month of June, that's the way I'll be tutoring... I do have one student who will have class with me... So, it's not because we're in lock down or anything...

Besides tutoring, I did go for a run in the heat of the noon day sun... absolutely insane... But I made it back... Running in the heat totally kills the appetite.

Isaiah and Abby are still working on finding internship opportunities... BUT... Isaiah called Jardin, which was one of the opportunities that we really liked. And they had their interviews last week! HUH? The application process closed on Sunday, May 31st and they already finished with all their interviews? Something is fishy with that process??? So, Isaiah did not get selected! He also called AIT and left a message. ORTV will open up opportunities for them, because they know Isaiah and Abby. The National Palace Museum also has opportunities... these two are non-paying internships. From 9-5, Monday to Friday, and maybe even weekends... Needless to say, the kids are not too keen about these... As for part time jobs, those are very rare, since most businesses don't want to hire someone who will be there for only 8-10 weeks. Please keep praying.

I will be signing them up for "driver's education classes" and hopefully by the end of the summer, they would have their driver's license!

This evening, Alan finally had basketball! The gym has been closed due to covid-19. Today was their first day back!

Isaiah and Abby both had practice -- tennis and basketball!

Daily Lovely Insight:
Acts 2: 37-38
Weds. May 1. Acts 2:37-38 …when they heard this, they were cut to ...

...Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart... That's true conviction! They asked, "What shall we do?" Peter's answer is suitable for all of us today -- REPENT! and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins... and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit...

True conviction comes with a turning away from ... to a turning to God! You can't enter the narrow gate and continue to walk the broad path. That was a sentence I heard from Paul Washer's sermon! By the lives of these early believers, they truly understood repentance! They bore the eternal fruit of a convicted heart!
