Smooth Day...

Mom was active, but we were able to keep her from wandering around too much. She was very into our worship service!

I ran errands while Alan stayed with Mom.

And it was a cold raining day.

1. Mission is not what you do, but who you are.
2. God’s mission is creation and redemption to restore us into His image in order for us to glorify His name.
3. The three freedom we have in Christ are: freedom of choice, freedom of creation, and freedom of self-confidence.
4. We are set free to help others to be free.
5. Don’t do the ‘repentance dance’.
6. The motivation behind freedom of choice is love (and we are to be responsible for our choices). The motivation behind freedom of creation is faith (to believe that God made us not as junk). The motivation behind the freedom of self-confidence is hope (that’s why God included the book of Revelation!)
7. Restoration of God’s image is also restoration of God’s authority.
