Media Frenzy

I had lunch with two dear sisters and then went shopping for a few items for an upcoming baby shower. I found some great bargains. The weather was great and it felt nice to be out in the sunshine.

In the afternoon when I went to pick Abby up at the Xihu MRT station, the site of the killing had become a shrine. Monks and even soldiers had congregated there. The media had blown things way out of proportion. In fact, the mother of the deceased had gone on TV begging the media to stop broadcasting this case. But the media had not heeded her request. It's very sad to see. The media instead had continued to sensationalize this event and it had prompted others who are starving for attention to do knife slashing at a MRT station and also on the streets. The streets seemed to have less people these days.

My heart continues to be in prayer. Only the Prince of Peace can truly bring peace in the hearts and minds of people in Taiwan.

Seek Him First!
