Soochow University kicked off their annual 24Hour Ultra Marathon. A Taiwanese guy who is 60 years old ran last weekend for 24 hours and joined again today. He ran 182.89 kilometers last weekend! He is 60 years old! I can't believe it!
Isaiah again represented his school to the Northern Taiwan English Speech Contest. The prepared speech topic was -- Pokémon Go Mania -- followed by the impromptu speech, which is done with a picture prompt. He came in second place, losing again to the Number One Girls High School. Still this is a great result for him.
Finally, this morning, the big news in Taiwan was that Trump answered a congratulatory call from President Tsai, ignoring US relation with Mainland China. I wonder what the news will say tomorrow about how China is going to respond to such an act! Interesting, interesting, interesting.
