It was a message that He has been pressing upon my heart. I believe that this one truth is the transforming factor needed to live victorious in perfect joy and peace and freedom.
As part of the talk, I went on line and found many interesting quotes. Here is an example --
If God was the owner, I was the manager. I needed to adopt a steward’s

manages assets for the owner’s benefit. The steward carries no sense of

As for verses, here is one to help us gain the proper perspective --
Ps. 24:1-6

everything on it belong to the LORD. The world and its people belong to him.
The LORD placed it all on the oceans and rivers. Who may climb the LORD's hill
or stand in his holy temple? Only those who do right for the right reasons, and
don't worship idols or tell lies under oath. The LORD God, who saves them, will
bless and reward them, because they worship and serve the God of Jacob.
God is our Master and He has entrusted to us all that we have.
How are we walking in obedience in the way we administer the bountiful goodness that He has poured out upon our lives?
