Quite A Lot Happening Here...

Because of online learning, Alan made a wonderful rule: two hours electronic fast a day! This must be consecutive two hours and sleeping does not count as a fast! It has been so good for us as a family! In those two hours, we are encouraged to spend time with God, exercise, do housework or read a book. In light of Level 3 being extended, I think more families should do this.

We started with online counseling... then I had my last Soochow Bible study, via a zoom meeting. Then I had two hours of tutoring. I had fixed Mom's food... and she was sitting in the living room. Alan noticed that she is becoming more like "Daddy George", which means 'easier to take care of' as she is not hyper!

This evening I met up with my tap dancing teacher as he ordered real honey and some of us bought a gallon jug from him. I also took the time to go and buy a few other items.

In the news, an increase in confirmed cases... one student from the downtown campus was a confirmed case, one worker at the Jiannanroad MRT station was a confirmed case! All these contracted Covid from being in the Wanhua area! And the Wanhua area had a huge outbreak because of the pilot at the 'tea parlor'. Absolutely terrible!

As for the weather, it was forecast to rain, but it never did! Bummer... In the evening, I went for a quick run!

Daily Lovely Insight:

We had our final study for this semester and looked at Daniel, examining the topic: living above our circumstances. It was a perfect study for such a time as this. Because of Daniel's trust in God, he was able to remain calm and pray as he had always done, even though he knew about the edict signed by the king. Daniel served the King of kings! Sometimes, the LORD works, not in ways we expect, nor according to our timing. But the result is that King Darius wrote a letter to all nations and race and language, calling everyone to respect Daniel's God, the living God, the powerful God, the God who saves and rescues!

Seek Him First!
