Isaiah got his scooter license!
I would have let him ride home but... they now have a new rule... before you can pick up your scooter license, you MUST attend a 90 minute class.

By the time we finished the physical (4US$), and the written test (4US$) and the course test (4US$), it was already 4:40. The last class started at 3:30! So, we will have to go back some time next week in order for him to go through the class and pick up his license (7US$). He had to miss practice this afternoon in order for us to go to the DMV together!
Isaiah passed the written test by ONE point. He got a few points deducted on the course test (because he had to put his feet down)... but he passed! So many people were in line and so many DID NOT passed!
We will take him out to the river park to practice a bit more before we let him ride on the roads... but soon, he can go and 'run' some errands for me... like scooter over to Carrefour and pick up some milk... YIPPY!

ReplyDeleteExactly... and so many people, even a foreigner, did NOT pass! We were standing there and watching... and the "siren" kept going off. The gal behind us tried 12 times and still did not pass! And we saw many young people who looked like they would pass easily and they did NOT! I was praying. I'm so glad Isaiah passed on the first try! All our hard work paid off!
