Isaiah's Injury

I called the Coach today and asked that Isaiah be excused from practice as he said it would be too difficult for him to practice in his present condition.

This evening I took him to the local hospital and he had an x-ray done.

It's a simple pulled muscle -- no bone damage or tear...

He will go to physical therapy for this coming week and also take muscle relaxer and pain killer. But we did get the doctor's order that he needs to rest from practice for the next two weeks.

So, Isaiah might be home all day... we will see what the Coach says tomorrow!

At least now we know it's not a 'major' injury! (He was hoping that it was something more serious, which would have given him the 'excuse' to not practice for a lot longer! Oh well... )
