Alan's Turn!

Alan has been talking about getting his prostate checked. I didn't even know how to ask for such an exam in Chinese. So, I asked a friend and he sent me the words and the information.

We went this afternoon and got him to see the doctor.

The doctor had to 'prescribe' the tests.

So, we went and paid. Because Taiwan has National Health Insurance (which is NOTHING like Obamacare), we had to only pay less than 20US$ for everything!

Alan got his blood test done and we were hoping to get everything else completed while we were there. Unfortunately, the next available spot for the ultra sound will be on February 22! Oh well... After that is done, we will have to wait another week in order for him to see the doctor and continue with the next exam.

He should be finished with everything by the middle of March!
