Never A Dull Moment

It felt good to be home... We all had a very FULL day!

Abby went to three churches today.

In the morning, she went with me to the New Beitou Baptist Church where I shared the message on "Who Is Jesus?" This year I'm going through a series of topics to help them to be rooted and grounded in order to become a true disciple of Jesus.

In the afternoon, she went to New Life Presbyterian Church where she was getting trained to serve on the ministry team of the winter vacation Bible school.  She has one more night of training and then it'll start on Tuesday to Friday evening from 5:30 to 9:30!

In the evening, she came over to House of Praise (non-denominational) where she joined a small group in talking about Covenant Relationships.

So at the start of the service, both Isaiah and Abby weren't around. Alan, of course, is still in the States. It felt strange to be there without them!

Where was Isaiah?

The coach cancelled practice yesterday, so Isaiah had practice all day today!  I dropped him off at the MRT station at 7:50 this morning.  He came to church at 6p.m. just in time for our Love Feast.

After the service, we went to Vanessa's to pick up some food that she was going to toss.  We love it.

And then I came home to bake things -- banana raisin bread and a Mexican concoction.
Yes, as soon as it was out of the oven, the kids devour half of the banana raisin bread. They said it was very tasty.

And since Alan hasn't been home, I've been cooking mostly Chinese food. So, the kids were ready for some homemade Mexican food.  It should be quite delicious as I put the meat in a crock pot this morning with one can of tomato soup, one can of mild green enchilada sauce and added bell peppers and onions.

I'm ready to head off to bed...

It's going to be another early day tomorrow. Isaiah starts a week of competitions!

Seek Him First!
