A Productive Date!

I totally forgot that this is the beginning of the long weekend. Monday is Dragon Boat Festival!

I was up early... and went out for my 9k. I always check the weather report and it's going to get hot... probably from Tuesday on to the day after Mid Autumn Festival... Sad, sad, sad... 

I was back and Mom Care! 

When Mom took off, I checked the recycling and went to WGE for my shower and quick workout.

Alan and I had made plans to be back by 10:30 so that we can go and have brunch. I found a great little restaurant that had a mixture of Chinese and Western breakfast items!

We then went and picked up Tzong-tzi at Elaine's office. Her mom made them! WOW! Then we were off to Costco and RT Mart! We needed milk and Alan wanted to buy chips for the long weekend!

We also wanted to buy this new coffee packets that Isaiah likes!

We were home by 3pm and after putting everything away, I promptly laid down for a nap!

Mom was home right on time! I had her dinner ready. And I watched two episodes of Poirot... I just love that show!

I felt tired all day... So glad that it was my Sabbath!

After Mom left, I went back to rest and read!

At around 11:30, I went out for a nice slow jog... I went for 10k because it was drizzling out! Then I went to WGE for a shower and a short workout!

I made a nice huge salad and feasted. What do you think I did afterwards?

Yes, I went back to nap some more!

Alan was home and he left for basketball at Soochow!

Mom was back! After she went to bed, I finally started to get a few things done!

A Tired Wednesday!

I was up early and went out for my 9k. But I was feeling so lethargic... 

I got Mom off and then went down to do the usual Wednesday recycling and there was a lot of get done. The people hauled off all the stuff from that B1 room which I cleaned out, but they couldn't take all the boxed up paper goods. I stacked everything up in a corner and then worked on the janitor's room!

I was finally back home and had breakfast at 11am!

I was going to go to WGE for a nice long shower and a workout, but instead I decided to just shower at home so that I can nap!

I had tutoring at 4:30 and it was raining!

The session went long and then on the way home, I had to get soy bean milk, pay a few bills and get gas! Alan was home with Mom as we don't have the helper for the month of June -- no helper for Mom pick up on Wednesday and Friday! That's ok! The helper for the Wednesday and Friday will start back in July!

After Mom went to bed, I had prayer time with another gal.

Isaiah went off to meet his 'friend' for dinner... they are not dating... YET!

Still Catching Up...

I am so thankful that the weather has been cool. 

I went out for my 9k and got home and did another load of laundry!

After Mom went off, I did more cleaning and then went down to finish up the B1 room! YEAH! 

I called and Ms. Hsieh had time today, so I got the dinner in the rice cooker and went off! Fist to WGE and then to buy vegetables. I didn't have time to stop at 7/11 to pay another bill. 

Those 90 minutes again flew by! 

I was home to tutor! The time flew by! It was a very productive session!

Almost as soon as we logged off, the phone rang! Mom was home... 

This evening I had prayer time with the two sisters as we had to change it!

A Different Kind of Catch-Up Day

The weather was so delightful... I went out and ran just 9k. 

I was home and I had put in a load of laundry before going off for my jog! 

It was Mom Care and then hung up the clothes and cleaned Mom's room.

The task for today was to clean out that B1 room for the complex. It was a lot of work! I have only two more boxes to sort through.

I had to rush off to tutor and the Lord provided a scooter parking space! YEAH!

We went long and I had to rush home. Thankfully, Elaine was a bit late so it worked out perfectly!

Mom was home and I had her dinner ready. She was really active... 

Elaine and I prayed quickly as I had to really watch Mom!

Alan came home and enjoyed my crock pot dinner!

We had Family Time tonight!

A Rainy Sunday

I was up early and went out for a walk, which I was also able to get a free errands done, even at 7am, like updating our bank book and paying bills. All the convenience stores can handle that! I also went to the 24 hours Carrefour to buy soy bean milk. 

I was home and went to help with the recycling as our janitor is off on Sunday. And even when he is here, he just does a very poor job! And then I went to throw out a few things in the storage room. I will have to go again to sort through stuff next week and I think I'll be finished by the middle of June!

We went to church early as Isaiah had his Bible study group. I also had lots of free books to give away. It was nice to be there early! I brought Mom's lunch there so she can sit and eat!

Isaiah translated for the sermon... and we were home by 7:30. I again went down to clean up the recycling area before I got Mom to bed!

An interesting thought from today's sermon:

The disciples sat and counted fish because they didn't want to face Jesus as they were ashamed of how they betrayed him at the cross! They went back to doing what they were good at or what they were used to and that's what we often do when faced with a difficult situation.

A Different Saturday!

I was up early... as Alan needed to take off early to Taichung and I have my time with Jesus!

After he left, I cleaned up the counter areas! FINALLY! 

Then I went out for a run -- 11k. And it was hot. My legs withered!

I was home and grabbed my bag, and took off for WGE. After a shower and just one machine, I was heading over to the YangMing Hospital. I had to get an appointment for a MRI (free for women! better than a mammogram!) and get the prescription refill for Mom. God worked as the door for these two appointments were right across from each other! How perfect is that! The MRI is schedule for July 8th. I couldn't do it earlier! And I got Mom's prescription for another three months! Her next appointment will be on August 24th!

I was home and took all the books down to the car and checked the recycling area! Then it was Mom Care!

Alan arrived in Taichung and won't be heading back until this evening.

Isaiah is enjoying his outing with friends in Ilan! It was pouring yesterday, but he said it was nice last night! The tent had an AC unit!
