A REST-FILLED PR DAY!

I was up early but again very unmotivated to go out for a run as I could tell that it was HOT!

I was back... completing 8KM, I took a shower and Alan and Isaiah left for work.

I had another cup of coffee and my breakfast and brought out two books to read.

That was interspersed with a chore and a nap...

At 12, I made myself a salad and then went down to pack more things into the box. It's almost finished! I also did another load of laundry!

At 3pm, I left to run errands and the rain started... the wait at the bank was long, but I paid the overdue land/property tax. It was in the mailbox at our old house... But the Lord is good... I didn't have to pay any penalty on it!

I blogged for House of Praise and then reorganized a corner in Abby's room as someone is coming on Saturday to pick up the mini washing machine that I had... YEAH!

I continue on my goal: give or toss something each day... It's going well...So far, you can't see a big difference, but I can see the 'results' a year from now!

I had tutoring at 5:30... and the downpour continued as I scootered over to church! I had to hide my bag of teaching materials! In fact, it looks like rain for this week and the next! The temperature didn't drop... just the rain...

Alan and Isaiah went to play basketball and we were all home... but no family time as Abby is on her way to Rio for an outreach event! We will have to make it next week!

I had prayer time at 8:45... and then... I made instant noodles for dinner! YUMMY!

Yet Another Long Day!

I was up early...And ran my 8km... and you guessed it: NOT PLEASANT!

I was back and after a shower, brought more stuff down to pack. The car is now emptied!

I then went and helped with the recycling... EVERYTHING was taken... amazing!

And I have continued with my give away one goal... I posted things and they were picked up by this afternoon!

I had tutoring at 11am and he requested 90 minutes... so after we finished, I headed to the old house. Alan was already there and we started moving the furniture. We have friends who are going to stay there... We also want to change the AC units and buy a new stove... I think we're looking at spending about 5,000US$ for everything.

I had to rush off at 3pm as I had tutoring at 3:40! That went well... and I was back at home by 5:35. I ate a quick hot dog and went off to tutor at 5:50! That house went well, too...

I was tired... but the day had not ended.

Online study at 8pm and I jumped off for prayer time at 8:45.

The rest of the evening flew by... I did a load of laundry, looked for AC units and a stove for our old house, and cleaned up the house a bit... With this summer heat, we're getting more tiny cockroaches...

TOMORROW... PR DAY... YEAH! I do have to finish packing the box and tutor... oh... and pay a few bills... but really... I'm going to take the day to rest!

Another Day That Went On and On and On...

I was up early... and had my 8K run... not pleasant... way too hot!

After a shower, I started packing the box! I hope I can get everything in... We shall see...

Then Alan and I took off to meet up with friends who are here from Australia. The lunch was delicious and the time was sweet...

We had to rush off at 2pm as I had tutoring at 3:30.

So... I took a Power Nap and went off... And made it right at 3:30!

At 5:15, I had an online counseling session... before going to Bible study. And I made it through the traffic and was there early. So I stopped at a 7/11 and bought a hot dog. I had been wanting to try their hot dog. It was quite good...

The study went well... and we set up our next few meetings... I didn't make it for the church prayer time at 8:45! I might not make it tomorrow as I have my online study. We shall see...

I was home at 10:30 and checked the recycling.

Blogged... and tidies up the house... and went to bed at 11:30.

What will it be like tomorrow?

Yes... you know the answer!

What? It's June Already!

I was up and went out and the LORD blessed... It was cloudy... That really helped!

I ran 8K and was home to shower and get ready for the day!

Counseling at 11am...

Picking up stuff for donation at 3pm...

Tutoring at 4:30pm...

Church meeting at 7pm...

It was not a 'pleasant' day... it was absolutely exhausting...

Tomorrow is going to be the same... Ditto for Wednesday...

I guess June is starting on turbo speed...

A Pleasant Sunday!

I was up early and after my time, it was time to do my 'one thing to give away'.

And it was so great... because I gave away all the yarn... and the lady came and picked up all three bags this evening!

I then went down to the recycling and the B1 restroom and got that all sorted out!

Alan and I had to go to church to drop off the snacks and the collapsible tub... He dropped me off at church and I set up the Love Cafe while he went to pick up Erica. We took her to XiHu Station and after helping her with her luggage, I went to XiHu Day Care and dropped off things to give away: diaper and extra walker parts!

Alan had to leave and I wanted to buy veggies and fruit and soybean milk. So, I walked back home with a load of goodies!

I got home and ate a delicious salad for lunch... and then finished up with a few things and it was time to head back to church!

I was the translator for one of the testimonies and Isaiah translated for the other person. The crowd wasn't huge, but the testimonies were fantastic.

I got home and again checked the recycling and ate the cold noodles that the church ordered for love feast! So yummy... and I had wanted some hot dogs and two of the containers of noodles had hot dogs in them! Amazing... I had bought buns... so that's my lunch for tomorrow!

The evening went by so quickly... prayer time with the gal and cleaning up...

The week has started!

A Very Unexpected Day

I was up early... and yes, I ran my 8KM. It was not cloudy. It was not raining...

I was back and after a shower, I started on tossing one thing... And I couldn't just toss 'one' thing... as I was going through our colored pencils and markers. So rewarding... what a feeling...

Before I could finish the job, I had to go tutor... and that hour went by FAST!

I got home and Isaiah was still sound asleep...

Alan was eating lunch...

I finished the job and then worked on my tutoring materials for this upcoming week as I have a new student. I have a different bag for each student! It's so great... and of course, since I was organizing the colored pencils and markers, I made a small bag of writing tools for each student.

Isaiah got up while I was baking cookies... and he went to visit a coworker who just had her baby. I was hoping to finish the cookies before he left so he can bring some... Unfortunately, they were still in the oven. And I'm glad he couldn't bring any as they are so good... Alan can enjoy having them all for himself. Oatmeal and raisins! Chewy and soft!

In the afternoon, I decided to take a Power Nap. That was so unexpected and refreshing!

Isaiah said we could meet up with him and Fenny for dinner... but we decided just to have dinner at home! Salad..

The weather was so nice outside that Alan and I took a walk to the convenience store to pay a few bills and then I cut his hair...

It was such a pleasant day... And people came to pick up things...

Overall... it was a day as I had expected... however, it was very pleasant... relaxing...

A Day Filled with Mixed Emotions

I was up early... but hearing the sound of rain, I went back to bed and didn't run until 8:30... and it was a fun run as it was raining and cloudy! Thank you Jesus!

I was home and had a shower and another nice cup of coffee...

Alan came home soon after and we headed out at around 10:45 for the mortuary. Yes... we had a service to attend... It was difficult for me to be there... Not only because a dear friend passed away (she was my coworker from Ming Chuan and only 53 years old), but it was because the place was where Mom was cremated... Lots of memories...

We went to lunch at Costco afterwards as I had to buy snacks for the church Love Cafe... And a Costco hot dog just sounded good! Since our car needed a smog check, that's where we headed next.

We got home by 3:30 and I was out the door by 3:50, checking on the recycling first and then went to a friend's house to drop off some books. I was about 7 minutes late for tutoring.

The second kid forgot his computer at school... so I only tutored one kid... Oh well... it was nice riding back and being home just a little earlier...

Alan and I had a free evening. Isaiah went to a baseball game...

Prayer time at 8:45!

I hope it rains again tomorrow...
