Wednesday = Tutoring

I was up early and I did go out... but still... it was not enjoyable. I completed my 8km. I don't know if I will hit 48 for this week!

I took a quick shower and went down to do the recycling. We have so much stuff that one truck could not take everything this time. We have people who are moving in... and the boxes are labeled in English, so I think they are moving back from being in the States... I will find out... But they had at least 30 boxes and packing papers... and the lady said that this was just part I... AIYO!

I finished with helping and came back up and it was already 10am. I ate a good breakfast and started to organized my tutoring stuff... But 10:45 came too fast and I was out the door.

The 90 minutes flew by and I was on my way home, in the blaring heat... I had lunch and rested! That felt so good.

I was out the door again at 3:10 and tutoring again went well...

I rushed home and switched stuff and left again for my last session at 6pm.

I was so glad to be back home at 7:25!

The dining room table was still piled with my tutoring stuff that I had not finished organizing. I was pulling out books for my different students... July will be a busy month of tutoring!

Prayer time at 8:45 and I didn't forget!

Then it was back to sorting...  I have projects that I hope to finish this week... Plus, I have my ppt to get done! The day just went by way too fast... and it's already July 1st!

It's Too Hot...

I was up but not early enough. I need to go to bed before 9pm in order to get up by 3am, IF I want to beat the heat... And even then, it might be a MAYBE!

I ran 8km and just took it slow and steady.

I got back and our new janitor really was mopping the floor.

I put more stuff with the guard for pick up and then took a shower and rested!

Alan and I had lunch together, but first I mailed a letter, donated books and got things copied off for my tutoring! WOW!

After lunch I had a two hour massage and it was not long enough... ha, ha, ha...

Tutoring at 3:30 and we went long... I rushed over to the farewell dinner... and it was sad to see my old friend and colleague, David. He really does have dementia...

I rode back home and started packing the box and almost forgot completely to log in for prayer time at 8:45!

The box is packed and I have still more stuff... next shipment!

Isaiah went to a baseball game.

Alan had tutored and came home by 7:30.

I wanted to go to bed early... but no can do...

Too Hot

I was up early and it was not early enough...

I went out too late for my run, so I only had time to run 6km. Plus, it was just too hot... no fun to run in that kind of heat!

A couple came over at 10:45 and hung out until 1:30! They wanted to talk as the husband will be assigned to work in Vietnam and he will be leaving tomorrow!

I then started cooking and rested before having to go to tutor...

The time flew by and I came back home, only to exchange my bags. I had Bible study at 7PM.

I made it right on time.

I didn't make it to prayer time at 8:45 as we were still in discussion...

I got home at 10 and yes, I had checked the recycling over the course of the day. We did get a new janitor. I have yet to meet this person.

Someone is moving into our complex, so there were lots of moving boxes...

I got home, blogged and put away things...

I was so glad for bedtime...

A Fast Sunday

I was up and even though I didn't go running, the morning went by so quickly!

I left at 11:45 to meet up with the parents of one of my students... they wanted to take Alan and I out for lunch. I ate so much... and it was so good. DuBu Tofu House... It's right at the Miramar Mall and I can't believe we've never tried it. All you can eat potato salad and kimchi!

I rushed over to church as tutoring started at 2pm. That went well... and then I went down stairs to help set up Love Cafe.

We had several friends who came to church and I translated...

After the service, people hung out to talk and I prayed with a couple...

The message was great: Ezra 9:5-9! Revival & Repentance!

I got home at 8pm and worked on the recycling area... wow... what a mess!

After blogging and then praying with another sister, I took a shower and just relaxed. The week has started!

Fast Saturday!

Even without tutoring the day flew by.

I had my morning time and then went for a quick 8km run... riding the scooter to the park and running...

I rushed back and didn't have time for a shower and headed off to pick up things from a lady... She had five bags of goodies for me...

On the way home, I stopped to get milk as I wanted to make cream of corn soup. Well... when I got home, the lady had given me so many goodies, that I didn't need to make soup.

I worked on the recycling as we still don't have a janitor... and did a load of wash... I had to change my running clothes quite often this week as most of the outfits got soaked.

Isaiah took off to meet up with Fenny...

Alan and I went to Evergreen... after dropping off books at the local library...

They had a love feast first and an old friend shared her testimony. The evening went by so quickly.

We got home by 9:30 and I worked on my ppt for July 5th and blogged...

It was so nice to go to bed... but I stayed up until after 12midnight in order to wish my older brother a Happy Birthday...

A Revived Run!

Yesterday's run was so horrible... I thought that was the end of my running... That was how bad it was. I came back from that run and that steam room feeling made me dizzy all day... I was incapacitated.

Today... what a difference... It was raining... There was a breeze... Lots of puddles... I made 8KM and felt great!

Yes, I had my time with Jesus... and ran after Isaiah took off for work...

Alan and I then went out to lunch and we were at Carrefour... but Carrefour has been bought out by Uni-Food... WAHHHHHHH... RTMart has been bought out by PXMart... WAHHHHHHHH... I'm so sad.

We then went to help a friend DECLUTTER! I again came back with a trunk load of stuff... I posted everything and things are being picked up. The books I will drop off at the local library!

I was home and didn't rest...And since I didn't have tutoring, I had time to get things done! YEAH!

This evening prayer time at 8:45 and Family Time at 9:30! YEAH!

The weekend has started!

Lots of Rain

I was up and just felt so tired... plus the weather was quite weird... warm with a heavy down pour.

I sat and read after Isaiah took off.

At 12noon, I went out for my run and the rain had stopped. It was a miserable run! It was hot so it felt like I was running inside a sauna.

I came back and went to check the recycling area and to see who the 'new' guy was... only to find out that they sent back another guy which we had said that he was banned from coming back to our complex. So, I will make another formal complaint.

I spent the rest of the afternoon reading and resting...

Tutoring cancelled as parts of Neihu is flooded... so I didn't want to be riding out there.

Alan and Isaiah went to play basketball at Soochow. It wasn't too bad there.

The rain is set to continue for another week... YIKES!
