Alan and Isaiah woke up super early to watch the Chargers' game. Even though they won, they did not make it into the playoff...
After the game, Isaiah went off to hang out with a friend.
I got started with housework and message prep.
Abby spent the time studying.
Alan went back to sleep.
Abby and I had set to stop our work at 2pm so that we can go for a long bike ride to Danhsui. We made plans and followed through and had such a fun time. After biking to Danhsui, we walked around and shopped. We then took the MRT to Shihlin and went to the Shihlin Night Market again! Both of these places were super packed... I wanted to go for a run, but the bike ride was a splendid change.
We didn't get home until 8:30. We had also wanted to watch a movie. We were cleaning out our DVD collection for the White Elephant Gift Exchange party and discovered that we have several DVDs that we had bought and never had time to watch. So, tonight we watched Peaceful Warrior. It's based on a book by Dan Millman who is a motivational speaker.
Isaiah came home around 10 and joined us.
Since Alan has a luncheon tomorrow, after the movie, I started baking... pumpkin bars and lemon bars...
I'm heading off to bed as soon as I finish this post...
It has been a most wonderful start of 2018!
