There were so many earthworms along the walking path... I stopped to save a couple of them.
We went to church by 3pm and we didn't have a big crowd as the rain hindered people from coming.
The message from Luke 21: 1-4 was a great start for 2018. How committed are we to God? Are we as committed as the poor widow? Or do we really give only the surplus of devotion to God? We are devoted to too many things or people and God is only one of our many devotions. What a challenge for 2018!
Next week we go to Luke 22 -- Finding Life Just As He Said!

ReplyDeleteALL!!! Surplus means the leftover... We do everything else and then give God the leftover. Luke 21:1-4 is a challenge to give God our ALL, not just the surplus. And we are not talking about just in the area of our finance, but starting first with our devotion/commitment!
