What A VERY Long Yet Blessed Sunday!

I was up early and after my QT went and took a nap... that felt so good!

At 9am, I started running errands: going to buy veggies and jello, paying bills, and updating our bank books.

I came back home and dropped everything off and headed out again.

I went to church early to set up and then came home and took a shower. And I was out again as I had a dear sister who was getting baptized. It was a fantastic service. They started with worship! The pastor gave a short message using Psalm 23. A lady came up and talked about how they are made new through the Holy Spirit and people who were getting baptized had people praying for them, individually. And the baptism service started and people were called up two at a time and it was a beautiful time. Family members and friends were called to come and take pictures. I was able to see May and after taking a picture, I had to rush to House of Praise.

The friend I had invited came and the service went well. Then... it was time for the Town Hall Meeting! Alan was calm and talked about his resignation and then the Constitution. The Congregation will have two weeks to give feedback and then the next version will be presented by the end of October for the Congregation to 'approve'.

I finally got home at 9:20 and as I started blogging, the gal that I usually pray with called. It was great to have time to pray with her.

It has been a long day. I don't know what will happen in the month of October. At least it's a holiday tomorrow!
