It's been a gift to have Amy, the Filipino helper, come twice a month.
She keeps Mom company and CLEANS OUR HOUSE! And she does such a fantastic job. Today she worked on Abby's room!
For those six sweet hours, Alan, Abby and I can go off and have some fun. We decided to do some hiking. We've been wanting to explore the area behind our house. And we finally did it today. We found out that there are so many trails. It was only a 15 minute drive, so we didn't have to worry about traffic. We found a nice parking spot and started off! The time flew by. I'm happy to report that we found a waterfall!
We came home and the house was beautifully cleaned... and Mom was happy. I fixed her dinner and she also got to talk to James.
I was so tired... Alan and Abby both went and took a nap! I hung out with Mom!
We wanted to do Family Time with Isaiah, but he has a tennis event plus Christian Sports in Action! We will have to see if we can do it maybe Monday night or Sunday night. Monday is a holiday, so it might work!
Mom will go for her massage on Monday -- MAYBE. She is not very obedient anymore when she is there. So, we might not be able to do that. What I mean is that she insists on going to the bathroom, and we can't have that! We will see...
News about Isaiah: Classes have started, but they split it into one-one-one. One hour on line, one hour in an assigned small group and one hour at school in person with the teacher or the TA. Isaiah says he has a lot of reading to do. As for tennis, they have fitness training and practice. But it seems like it's ok if you miss a session as long as you let the captains know in advance. Their first game will be on Wednesday, 10/13. He doesn't know if he will be playing singles or doubles. Some of the tennis team guys seem to be pretty wild. He has also gotten involved with Christian Union and the on campus activities they sponsor. The group is quite active and has a lot of fun together. They even serve hot chocolate from 10pm to 3am on Wednesday evening! Please keep Isaiah in your prayer! He hasn't settled on a church yet. He wants to visit possibly two more.
