Today was another very packed day.
I called my mom to wish her a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY... and scootered over to the New Beitou Baptish Church. I was delighted to have Abby with me. She was to go to the cram school, but since it was Mother's Day, she decided to join me instead.
The computer was having several glitches and would not work properly. So, the service started late. I thought with Sophy's situation that maybe we'd only have 7 people. Instead, we had 11 people!
Abby and I got home by 1:15 and we all left again at 2:20 to head to our afternoon service! Alan was in charge and needed to get the ppt ready. The kids were on the worship team. It was a great service. We asked people to contribute to the service by sending one ppt slide with a picture, a verse and a word to describe their mother. We had a total of 17 ppt slides and they were just beautiful! A dear couple brought back 21 boxes of See's Chocolates! The mothers were all so surprised by this year's mother's day gift. In the past, we had 7/11 coupons. We did that for 7 years. So, it was the perfect gift orchestrated by God!
We had dinner at church and got home at around 8:15.
There were many verses that were shared. Here is a short list to bless mothers from around the world-
Seek Him First!
