Abby had one more day of exams. She already knows that she did not do well.
I headed out to Costco. Big mistake! The people mover was not moving. So, once people were up on the second floor, they could not get down to the first floor except to wait for the elevator. So, they started passing out these huge Costco bags for anyone who didn't have that many items in their cart. We're at Costco. Who didn't have lots of things in their cart? One cart had SIX containers of Tide liquid detergent. Another cart had TWO huge bags of tissue paper. The wait for the elevator winded around, looking like a ride in Disneyland.
I got back and Alan and I headed out for our date. We wanted to get back as our church was moving out of our present office and we wanted to go help out. There was a pile of things to take for donation. After lunch, we headed over there and loaded up the car. Unfortunately, the donation place was closed -- Labor Day! May 1st! We just left everything in front.
For dinner we met up with my brother at a restaurant that I had bought coupons for. But when we got there, the waitress said, "Oh, sorry, those coupons can only be used before 4:30." We still stayed as the food was delicious, even though I can tell you now that they put way too much MSG!
So, this has been an interesting day. A day of many 'unplanned' things!
