Restful Sunday!

I was up early and just took it easy. 

I decided to start on a corner in Abby's room that had a bunch of stuff that I was thinking about giving away. And since I'm going to be packing a box for the Philippines, I decided to clear that corner!

The Toyota people called. To fix the car was going to be over 60,000NT$! What? So we will take it to another mechanic to ask. But that can't be done until Tuesday!

Alan went to play tennis. Isaiah stayed in bed!

I led the prayer time at 8am and I felt the heaviness of those who came online. There were a total of six of us. We will have another prayer time this Thursday. Even the verses that were read seemed to be filled with heaviness. Somehow, division has clouded our mind, even for our time of prayer! Satan's tactics are the same: even using the word of God to bring division!

We headed out to church.

I again was 'rescued' as I had to go up to teach Sunday school. So, when the elder stood up after the Lord's Supper to share, I was not present. He was going to present a resolution to help but instead, he wanted another elder to step down and to remove this elder as the Chairperson of the Association. I was floored when I heard because I felt so betrayed. If I was present, I would have lost my cool!

We didn't get home until after 8:30... and I got lots of stuff from two sisters. Things that I will put in the box to mail to the Philippines!

We talked for quite a bit and Alan went to bed as the game will be on at 4:25AM. It's a holiday tomorrow. We were hoping to have Family Time, but Abby couldn't make it!
