We were at Nanhu Senior High School from 11:30 to 5:30!
First, Abby was performing in a dance routine.
Then Abby actually was on stage to receive the All Around Award!
At the end of the ceremony, the song she wrote was played during the 'airplane' launch!
Mom really enjoyed the day... She was a bit confused, but she had fun!
We got home and we had dinner and she was in bed by 7pm!
Abby has vacation from now until university starts... On Monday, she will again try to pass the scooter license... And then she will be cleaning out her room and we will go off to Beijing. She wants to get her nails done and get her eyelashes done... ha, ha, ha... I'm buying the coupons for her so she can have a 'beauty treatment'!
I got quite teary eyed looking at my daughter, all grown up... Yes, the years have gone by way too fast!

ReplyDeleteI will ask Alan to email some to you, Mom. He has them in his iCloud account, plus the Mayor Award Ceremony. Alan went on stage with Abby to receive the award! I was at church as the ceremony was in the afternoon.
