Abby Did It!

On Monday, Abby was going to go and get her scooter license, but she didn't have time...

So, this week, we made sure she took lots of practice tests on the internet and this morning, she went and practiced with Alan.

At 1pm, Alan took her to the DMV. She did three more practice tests and got an 88 on the written test.

They then headed out to the riding course... and watched how you're supposed to go around the course. A lot of people DID NOT pass... that got Abby nervous...

Most of those who didn't pass were all young cocky youth who rode too fast through the course and didn't take time to do each part properly!

When it was Abby's turn, she was super slow... and careful. The only thing she did incorrectly was at the end when she was so thrilled that she was almost finished that she neglected to look both way before proceeding!

She passed and can now scooter herself around... on my scooter, Big Blue!

We are so thrilled.

As for Mom, she is feeling better... and wanted to go out early... So, she did go to the Friday morning church program... and then I forced her to rest in the afternoon.  Hopefully by Sunday, she will be fully recovered!

Isaiah headed down to Taichung for another tennis tournament!

And it's been tremendously HOT...

We are one month away from heading back to the States!
