New Restaurant & More Meetings

Alan and I had our date at a new restaurant, called JOYFULL! It's a Japanese chain restaurant that reminded us of Denny's. Unfortunately, the portion was quite small... The food was 'ok'... If the portions were bigger, we'd go there on a regular basis...

We made a fast stop at Costco and then went home as we had lots to do in preparation for the Mother's Day service.

We got movie tickets for the kids as they finished their exams... For Isaiah, he is now finished with all his high school tests. For Abby, she has her final exams in June.  We wanted to see the Guardians of the Galaxy, II as a family, but since Alan and I had two different meetings tonight... the kids went on their own. They said it was fantastic!

I went to the PTA meeting... Alan went to the HOP Ministry meeting!

After we were all home, the weather changed dramatically -- a downpour and thunder & lightning!
