Today was quite a relaxing day!
We stayed home for the morning and we each did our own thing. I worked on church-related things. Isaiah read and was on his phone. Alan went to play tennis and then watched the NCAA game with Isaiah. Abby slept in and then played the piano.
We were planning on going to have afternoon tea, but the restaurant increased the price as it was a holiday. So, we bagged that and decided on just trying archery and then going off to one of our favorite Italian restaurants for an early dinner.
The archery place was a 15 minute walk from our house. The young coach was super nice. It was 13US$ per person and we had so much fun. Alan was the best. Abby was second. I was third and Isaiah did the worst. He later said that he likes skeet shooting a lot better.
The day ended with dinner out and then home to watch Mission Impossible: Rogue Nations.
These four days again reminded me of the days when the kids were home more often and how I enjoyed having them at home.
