Can I Say It? Weird Sunday!

I was up and had my quiet time. I had planned to drop off the oven at church and go to Costco. BUT... Alan was not feeling well... And so we went to the ER.

They took one look and said: cellulitis... YIKES! They prescribed strong antibiotics which we had at home as Mom had to take it when she had her heel sore! They also gave him a shot.

We got home at 10... which was fast. We love Yang Ming Hospital.

I rushed off to the Young Adults Fellowship and there were only three people. Yep... another result of the wolf in sheep clothing ordeal! Isaiah did a great job... and we had lunch together and shared. I set up and headed back home to see how Alan was.

Audrey, our HOP Ministry Assistant, was kind enough to come over to our house to get the oven. I had an inspiration as the gal who usually bakes had decided to attend what I consider the 'wolf's' church. So, I made oatmeal and raisin cookie dough and the kids helped themselves and baked their own cookies. It was a lot of fun and the smell of the baking cookies was fantastic. Next week I'm going to bring more cookie dough!

I translated for the service and yes, we had a smaller crowd, but it was a great time of worship! I didn't get home until 8:30. I ate salad for dinner, put everything away and prayed with a sister.

I was so ready for bed!

  3. That can be serious. Make sure you have the same dose and the amount that was prescribed. Yes take the full course even if it looks better. Must make sure it’s completely gone.

  4. you know why not giving the full dose of antibiotics is dangerous right? If you start feeling better, and you stopped the antibiotics. They haven’t had a chance to Kill all the bacteria, the bacteria them mutates to build up a resistance against to the antibiotics, so when it comes back, the same antibiotic won’t kill the bacteria, and you have to go to something stronger. So it’s very important to take the full dose for the full cycle. your mom was much smaller than Alan, perhaps they gave her a lesser dose than what they prescribed to him. make sure it’s the same thing. Praying for his leg to heal quickly.
