I was up early and the day was filled with one thing after another...
Isaiah asked me to help with the Young Adults Morning Service since he wasn't going to be around. I was just to take and place the orders and pick up and drop off... but then the person in charge of the service had a conflict: she was serving at her church this morning. So, I was invited to put together the content part of the service. I wanted to work together with another young adult, but she had a severe muscle back strain. She could barely walk. We prayed and by yesterday afternoon, she was feeling better... So we talked last night to plan for this morning's service!
I headed out early as I wanted to pick up a book from the library. But I'm so glad I did as the restaurant was super busy and it took them 30 minutes to fill the order. I went to church and started to set up! I went to pick up everything and then prayed with the gal and everyone arrived.
The service went well... I stayed to clean up and then scootered home, only to get back in the car to head back to church for the afternoon service! I first stopped at Ms. Hsieh to pick up nice sets of pajamas that we are donating to the Philippines!
Most everything was already set... but the worship team was short on a translator. So, I step in! I was also the translator for the MC and the message!
After the service, I met with the gal in charge of the Prayer Bike and Picnic to go over where we'd be stopping for Saturday's event!
On the way back home, we dropped off the pajamas as the boxes are being packed tomorrow and picked up more goodies for Annie that I had ordered! I will be ordering more stuff next month!
We were home and I put everything away and worked on shredding Mom's documents! Isaiah helped which made the whole process much faster. I went down to throw away the paper stuff and of course, the recycling area was a mess!
I checked my emails. I blogged. I prayed with a gal and headed off to bed after I set up for my tutoring tomorrow!
