I cancelled my morning Bible study... So, I only had to tutor this afternoon. I was feeling pretty good this evening, but I decided to stay home and use video chat. I hope to join next time!
Abby stayed home and prepared for worship on Sunday as she will be leading! In the afternoon, she went and did a short run in the hot sun...
Isaiah had his internship... and he did a skit that will be aired in January!
Both kids had tutoring this evening!
Alan worked on discipleship materials and then went for basketball practice and then to the spa to soak his knee!
Daily Lovely Insight:
I watched several short documentaries about early missionaries. For example, William Carey, the shoemaker, who became known as the father of modern missions, suffered greatly. His son died. His wife went insane and later died. He had little funds and saw very few converts in the beginning. Yet, he and others like him persevered with deep convictions that they were doing God's will no matter what obstacles and persecutions or discouragements they faced. It helped me to see that obstacles do not mean to stop. Like Paul or Noah, when you know you are doing exactly what God wants you to be doing, don't let anything deter you.
Seek Him First!
