Fruitful Day

I was cornered by one of the social workers at the elderly care center. She wanted to let me know that Mom has some bad habits.
1. She likes to watch TV up close... even though she blocks others behind her.
2. She talks to other people while there is a program going on. She says it's because she doesn't understand what the program is about, so she'd rather chat with the person next to her.
3. She tends to wander around and orders people to get her stuff.

So... when I told them that Mom might be going to Xihu if she pass the 'evaluation', they told me that Xihu is strict and does not take 'everyone'. In fact, several of those at their center were the 'rejects' from Xihu. Please pray that Xihu will take Mom even with all her 'bad habits'!

The day was a busy one... Bible study in the morning and since I didn't have to rush to pick up my mom, the ladies stayed and chatted until 2:30! I went for a quick run before heading back to the hospital to get the health reports. That took a while.

I then went to the Sony Repair Center, hoping they could fix a couple of things... NOPE! Beyond repair!

We came back home and Mom had dinner.

Both kids were home as there was no practice for Isaiah and no work for Abby. They decided not to do those things as midterms are just around the corner!

Alan was back by 10:20...

We did not get to see James today, but we are planning on going out to dinner with him on Thursday evening. Alan has been enjoying the free buffet breakfast at his hotel since James doesn't eat breakfast! Why waste?!?!?!
