I didn't want to sleep in as the weather this morning was just invigorating.
After spending time with God, I did some housework and ate a delicious Chinese breakfast.
The kids were up at around 10am. Alan came back from playing tennis and I went out to run a few errands, including dropping off things to a friend.
We were headed to church by 2:45...
I spoke from Luke 14:1-10 -- what a great passage!
Here is one quote that I used in this talk --
Independence of God is at the core of sin, and dependence on Him is at the core of discipleship.
Next week we will be in Luke 15, the Lost Chapter! I'm looking forward to it!
