How Expensive Housing Is In Taipei

I had a very interesting experience as I wanted to help a dear couple find a two bedroom, furnished apartment to rent for one month. I asked friends. I went on-line. It is nearly impossible to find anything for a reasonable price. This was when I wished I had bought another place when I had a chance some five years ago.

Two bedroom apartment in our area, furnished, runs about 1300US$ per month! That's totally outrageous!

I will keep looking.
