First of all, I can't believe we're just two months away from the end of 2015!
For months I've been trying to 'fit' in six days of running. I tried going out whenever I had time even to just run 7 kilometers. But even then I could not get in six days.
But this past week, even with test writing and tons to do, I got in six runs, each 10 kilometers or more! This is a first in a long time. And it felt really good.
Today was a longer prayer run as I had a lot to be in prayer for... The kids were off at their activities so after tutoring, I took off. The wind was blowing, but it felt good to be out there with God by my side.
Will I have the time to do this again next week? I hope so...

Unexpected Things
Today was Date with Alan. But in the morning, we found out a friend got a bad cold and needed help. So, we went and took him to a local clinic. There was no wait and the doctor spoke English. In less than 30 minutes, we were on our way back to his place.
Alan and I did have time to go to lunch at a new restaurant. It was really a hole in the wall, but the food was fantastic.
I had ordered boxes to pack with things to be sent to the Philippines. The boxes were waiting at my front door. And they were pretty big.
Oh... I also got a new mug. A gift from a dear friend. He found it in a second hand shop in England --

Morning time with God,
How fast the day seems to fly,
Time to say good night?

Breakfast Breads from OK
Since I got coupons for one of the local convenience stores, I've been going to buy breakfast breads for the kids each week. For 200NT$ (about 7US$), I can buy about 12 different kinds of bread. So, the kids have enjoyed the treat.
Here is the logo for OK Convenience Store --
Here are two pictures of the bread shelves --
There really are that many different kinds! I still have another 14US$ to spend. So, yes, the kids are very happy!

It's Test Writing Time
I have set aside three days this week to write the ORTV tests! And today was the first day! This is the last time that I will need to write two sets of tests. They found someone to take over the conversation test. I'm thinking of telling them that I don't want to write any more tests in 2016.
So, today... I sat in front of the computer non-stopped for hours... my eyes were bugged eyed by 2:30! I had to stop and rest.
I decided to cook and clean a bit just to get moving.
Started a loaf of raisin bread, stir fried veggies, tidied up the house...
And after I picked Abby up, I went for a long run. It was hot during the day, but after 6pm, it cooled down.
How far did I get on the tests? Well, not as far as I had hoped.

Getting Together with Friends
It was such a day of feasting...
I got to hang out with Laura for lunch and I made a big salad. It was fun to catch up.
For dinner, we had Gareth and Vivian and Fiona over. Yvonne also came to to join us she wanted to hang out with them. Later on in the evening, David and Tiffany came by with vegetables from down south. Robert and Ariel came by to pick up their iPad. It was just so much fun.

Annual HOP Children's Service
HOP now has a yearly tradition -- the White Sunday's Children's Day!
Alan was in charge and this year's theme was -- Jesus Is...
Abby shared a song and a picture focused on Jesus is my compass.
Isaiah shared that Jesus is sovereign.
All the kids were asked to say something. The older kids played the ukelele and sang. The younger kids got dressed up as lions and did two action songs.
For Love Feast, we ordered a cake from Costco and fun finger food.
It was a great evening!
