It was so wonderful to gather together... although I know we all miss seeing some familiar faces as Rachel and Wendy are no longer a part of the group.
We are doing the Beth Moore lecture study on the Holy Spirit, entitled Breath based on John 20:22. The phrases for tonight are: Something's Coming and the Holy Spirit's Moving!
Actually, the whole day was quite enjoyable. We had brunch with Kevin, Vanessa and their two adorable kids. They are expecting their third child in October right around when Vanessa will be turning 40!
Abby went to the cram school - the first time in a long time! And even though she missed quite a few classes, she did fairly well for the first 'review' exam. She didn't pass, but neither did several kids who have been in class!!!
Isaiah was home all afternoon and I dropped him off at New Life at around 4:45. I came home to get the house ready and to set up the DVD player. It took me a LONG time to get it working. Boy, did I miss having Isaiah or Alan around to help me with the technical stuff.
The kids were at New Life until 9:00 as they had to prepare for the upcoming kids' camp.
We watched another great movie and finally headed off to bed after 12midnight!
