My PR Day & Maundy Thursday

I was up but not early enough to fit in my run before getting Mom up and out...

So, I went and ran my 11k after Mom was off... and thankfully, there was a bit of shade and a slight breeze! But it was still hot!

I was home and after a shower, I made myself a salad... absolutely delightful!

And then I proceeded to read... I could not put the book down... I got the book during my time in the States for 1.00US$... John Ortberg, the Life You've Always Wanted! Spiritual Disciplines for Ordinary People

The Life You've Always Wanted: Spiritual Disciplines for Ordinary People: Used - Picture 1 of 1

Abby had a lunch appointment and then went and got her hair done. She was home by 4:30 and then she went to play basketball at Soochow with Alan and Isaiah.

I was home with Mom.

After she went to bed, I just used the time to sit and listened to worship songs... I also made grilled cheese sandwiches for everyone's dinner!

Unexpected Restful Wednesday

My Wednesdays are usually packed... but not today... AMAZING!

On a typical Wednesday, I bake and then have my Soochow Bible study. When that finishes, I usually rush off to tutor then rush home for Mom Care. In the evening, I usually have another two hours of tutoring!

But today...

I was up super early and went out for my 10k run because I saw the weather forecast. It was going to be hot...

I was back and took a shower and ate my breakfast and then got Mom up! Abby went and ran down to the tennis courts as Alan was already there!

After Mom took off, I checked the recycling and headed out to the DMV as I forgot to bring the kids' ID cards yesterday. The government agencies here in Taiwan are so efficient. I was finished in 30 minutes. I had told Abby that I'd be home by 10 am and I was home by 10:05. She ran back home and took a shower and went for her massage. But... I made a mistake on the time. It was for 1pm. So, she came back and rested.

Alan came home and we had lunch. I ordered the soap dispenser for Annie and worked on my Revelation Bible study. We were to have our study online tonight, but four ladies couldn't make it, so we will postpone it. We are a very flexible group!

Abby took off and she had lots planned for the rest of today: meeting up with three different groups of friends.

Alan and Isaiah went to another Mars basketball game, which was their last home game!

I stayed home for Mom Care!

I did finish my homework, which was nice!

Another Family Outing!

It was great to have time together... Isaiah took the day off of work...

I was up early and put in a load of laundry and then got Mom up and out.

I had time to run, even though it was quite warm. Isaiah, Abby and Alan played tennis...

We were all back by 10:30. I was back earlier to make lots of phone calls! I called the environmental agency and arrange people to come and pick up the couches tomorrow morning. I also called to ask about when to see the pictures and we got it arranged for Saturday at 2pm. Finally, I called to make an appointment for Abby to have a massage with Ms. Hsieh!

We left at 11am and when we got to the DMV, they wanted the kids' ID and passport! Darn it... Isaiah and Abby got their pictures done and I'll have to go again tomorrow! Oh well...

We then went to Glory Mall out in Linkou, but first, we stopped at Coco and there was a nice restaurant right next door and we had a delicious lunch!

We walked around the Mall for three hours: Alan bought a pair of Mizuno, Isaiah bought a pair of Palladium and I bought two pairs of Brooks! They had my size and the second pair was half off... so... two pairs came out less than 3800NT$! (About 60US$ a pair!)

We headed back home and had time to rest. The helper came. Isaiah, Abby and Alan went to move the sofas and I stayed home with the helper as I had to put Mom to bed and then we went to pick up Fenny and headed out to the Night Market!

What fun!

Abby got all her favorite night market foods and we also shopped!

Bank Done for Abby!

I was up early... not super duper early, but early... I'm getting Mom earlier now as I never know what I need to do to get her ready. She's not able to control her pee now... so... she might pee before I get her diaper pulled up! And then, I'll have to change everything! YUP!

Mom was off in the van and Abby and I took off for the bank.

The process took almost two hours...

She went to her luncheon meeting and I rode the bike to my meeting. I stopped to get a drink and a snack.

The students showed up quite on time and the interview went well.

I then rode the bike back home... and it was hot.

The afternoon was spent calling different places: trying to find a repairman for the old house Magic Chef stove, making an appointment to see our pictures, talking to the social worker about the terrible helper on Saturday (they will send a 'better' one this Saturday).

Abby was home and gave me a great leg massage... thus, I did not go for a run... What a blessing!

This evening, we went and met up with friends from the UK after Mom went to bed. We also ran a few more errands!

Tomorrow is another fun Family Day! Mom has Day Care!

Sunday!

I was up super duper early... It's Palm Sunday!

After my time, I did a load of laundry and worked on sorting through things. Then I went to the old house as the stove guy came. He doesn't have the parts as our stove is Magic Chef, American made... So, I had to call Whirlpool and find someone who can come. I did check out a couple of videos and perhaps I can fix one burner. The other side will need a part!

I went to Costco and picked up a few things and I also went to PX Mart and got Abby some milk tea that she wants to bring back to Brazil. She also wants to bring some pineapple cakes!

I got Mom up and yes, the helper was bad... the diaper leaked major time!

I trimmed her hair and cut her toenails and she had her shower and ate well before we went to church.

Isaiah was the worship leader. Oh... Abby and Isaiah went to the Young Adults Morning Service and then Abby spoke at another church for their Young Adults group... She scooter over to church and in the evening, she met up with her high school friends. She had a very busy day.

We went to church and it was nice to have lots of snacks for the kids.

I didn't have to translate... YIPPY! I was feeling quite tired!

We were home by 7:45 and I got Mom to bed and blogged and headed to bed as early as I can!

This week is going to be... yes... you can fill in the blank!

Family Day Out...

I was up super early... and went out for my run at 6am. I knew that I would not have time later...

I came back and took a quick shower and went to get gas for my scooter, pay a few bills and then got my scooter tuned up!

The helper came early and she was not good... We all thought she was a bit 'special ed', to tell the truth!

Anyhow, we left and went to get our annual family portraits done as we had an 11:30 appointment. Here are some of the photos we took and we hope to look and choose next Saturday:

After the photo shoot, we went to watch our friend's son's basketball game!

The game was very tight but Mars won by 6 and Sam made the most points! YIPPY!

We had bought lots of goodies and ate while we were watching them warm up!

After the game finished, we waited around and talked to Sam. Isaiah and Abby got interviewed...

We were still so full, so we decided to go home. I'm glad we didn't stay out as the helper was not good. The lights in my mom's room were on. The music was not. She didn't change her into her pajamas and I'm wondering what the diaper will be like tomorrow!

Next Saturday we will be getting another helper... Please pray!

But overall, we had such a fun family day... We will go out again on Tuesday and then again on Saturday. Abby is heading back on Monday April 21st. So soon... the time is flying by!

Our 38th...

I was up super early as Alan has his discipleship group at 5:30am on Friday mornings. Abby was up at 7am, which is early for her. She ran/walked to the park and played some tennis with Alan.

They were back by 10:45 and I was already home and finished with my shower. I went to run errands and then came home to make some 'pigs in the blanket' for Abby. She had an appointment at 2:30.

Alan and I took off for our date... we first went to look at an apartment that's for sale. It is decorated/remodeled and you just need to bring your clothes or kitchen items. Of course, you have to buy your own frig and washer/dryer. But personally, I didn't like the bed or the sofa or any of that stuff. I would have preferred a place with just all the cabinets but the rest was left empty. Anyhow, it's way over-priced.

We then headed to Hyatt as I made reservations a month ago for their afternoon tea. It was really fabulous for 40US$ per person. We totally enjoyed ourselves.

BUT... we had to rush home for Mom care!

Abby had an evening engagement but Isaiah came home for dinner!

Tomorrow, we are going to have our Family Pictures... YIPPY!

A Needed Sabbath

I was up early... and the weather outside was delightful: raining!

I got Mom up and out and Abby and I set ourselves to clear out things from her room: clothing items, papers, books, etc. We sorted and shredded and chatted and ate chips. It was a delightful way to spend the two hours.

Since she had a luncheon set, she took off at 11:10 and I continued with packing up things to give away. I was going to go out for a run, but I wanted to use the Sabbath to rest... and that's what I did. I took a nap! I was hoping Abby would be back at 2pm so that I can ride the scooter to visit a friend's exhibition, but she pulled "an Abby": she didn't finish her luncheon until 3:05 and she had a nail appointment at 3pm! I made the appointment at a place that was five minutes from her luncheon place. The LORD is good... the lady still did her nails even though she didn't get there until 3:25 and I texted my friend and told her that I couldn't make it today! Oh well...

That gave me time to call a friend whose father is in the hospital: ICU! And I also had time to take a shower... I hadn't had one since Monday!

When I looked at the clock, it was already 4:30: Mom was due to come back all too soon!

Alan and Isaiah had work and then they went to play basketball.

Abby had a dinner appointment and rode my scooter over there.

I took the evening after Mom went to bed to walk to Miramar to return an item!

Overall, it was a wonderful and much needed Sabbath!

Skipped the 8th!

I was flying over the international date line...

I did have my quiet time with Jesus on the plane before the morning meal and landing!

The day flew by... You read about Monday...

We checked in and all the bags passed... the weight was nearly perfect...

And going through custom wasn't bad at all. Abby went to Eva's Gate and I walked a long way to my gate. I was able to hit my daily step goal.

After the meal, I was fast asleep...I could not keep my eyes opened... And according to my Garmin, I slept 5 hours and 39 minutes, which was about what I got every evening during this trip...

Alan came to pick us up and after dropping us off, he had to go and teach a special class. I got Mom up and out and helped with the recycling which was an absolute mess... Of course, the management company said it was because of the tomb sweeping holiday... To me, that's not the main reason... the janitor just did not do his job right!

When that was finished, I went up and worked on putting everything away... About 10:15, I had to lay down for a Power Nap. I was up when Alan came back. Abby and I headed out at 12:45 for the Bible Study and only two students showed up as this is the week before midterms. But it was great! Then two students interviewed me for an assignment/project. We didn't finish, but Abby and I had to go to our dental appointment. We had our teeth cleaned. No cavities...

We then went to buy contact lenses and Coco Bubble Milk Tea and onion cake with eggs! So yummy!

Abby had an speaking engagement tonight and I got Mom to bed and worked some more on cleaning and  sorting... I'm almost done.

No run today... Too much to do and I lasted until after 10:30... WOW!

Isaiah played basketball after work and Alan worked on fixing his tennis racket with the part I brought back from the States.

Heading Back to Taiwan!

With very little sleep, I was up early and headed back over to finish up and to pick up a suitcase and a box.

At 9:15, I headed to Aldi and bought salad dressings and creamers and lots of chips and snacks. I overbought because I headed home and started packing and everything was overweight! So, I had to leave a few things behind. Not the food, but the stuff that I was going to take from Nadine Circle: Bibles, decorative items, etc.

Uncle Jesse, a dear friend, came at 10:40 and we went out to eat Chinese food! Yummy! KR, Annie, Abby, Uncle Jesse and I... and the feast was fantastic! It was 13US$ a plate and we ordered 6 plates for only five people. Wow... We did have a few things as leftovers!

We were back and sat around chatting before Uncle Jesse had to leave as he had the night shift duty at work and he needed to take a nap!

I finished up the packing and took a nap as Angel was to come over at 3:30, but she was late. So, I went and had a nice easy walk.

We went out to get Ramen, but I was totally not hungry. I just brought a mug of coffee!

At 7pm, I was back to take a shower and get things loaded and we headed to the airport at 8pm. (I'm writing this before it happens as that's the plan. I'm going to upload this before I leave as I'm putting away the computer!)

I will blog when I'm on the other side of the Pacific!

A Packed Sunday!

I was up super early as Annie and I went to the house by 6am.

I started and it was a lot of work as I had only 3.5 hours before church! I started in the kitchen and worked myself through the house, gathering things in one of the bedrooms.

Annie picked me up at 9:45 and we went to church. The message was on Contentment from Philippines 4:11-13.

We went home right after church as I wanted to continue the work before Pam came to pick me up at 1:45! We went to Mimi's and Suz drove and met us there! I ordered the salmon eggs Benedicts. And we stayed there until 9pm. We closed up the restaurant. Suz brought gifts for us as it's our 45th Anniversary from when we first arrived in London in 1981 for the start of Year-in-Europe Program! Pam brought letters I wrote to her and when she got home, she checked and we left the States on April 17th! Suz dropped me off at Nadine Circle and came in for a tour and stayed to help me finish up! Amazing! She then dropped me off at 10:15 at Annie's and Abby was already home.

Annie made hard boiled eggs and I ate one and drank some orange juice. Suz paid for lunch and Pam paid for dessert so I was not at all hungry!

I will go again tomorrow and take things I want to bring back to Taipei in a box that I have over there. I also have one more container to finish up!

Annie will go to Costco for me to buy some dried apricots and I hope to have time to buy some flavor creamers. It's going to be a busy day as we will have lunch with Uncle Jesse and Angel Go will be visiting me as well.

A Packed Saturday!

I was up early and after my morning time, I waited for Abby. When she wasn't up by 8:21, I left for my run -- 8k. I only ran 32K this week!

Alden was making bacon when I got back, so Mom Bea had a nice big breakfast!

We hung out and chatted and left at 12:25 as I drive slow...

We were in Torrance by 3:21 and we stopped at Salvation Army. Nothing... I don't want to buy anything, but I was looking for Isaiah (dress shoes) and Alan (cargo shorts). Abby was looking for baggy jeans!

We got here by 4:40 as the prayer meeting started at 5pm.

After that, Abby and I joined the Sedar Event at Adele's house. It was so so so fantastic! The food, the people... An absolutely lovely evening.

We were going to leave early but stayed until past 9pm. During the evening, I started to get calls and texted messages from people in Taiwan asking about the HOP Service. Alan was in charge, but it's the Children's Day service and I always try to make it special. But this year, I was so busy with all the preparations needed plus the old house needing painting and our current house changing all the AC units, I did not have time to get much done in preparation for this day. And Alan had delegated the tasks to others, who didn't get it done! Anyhow, I asked different people to do several things... half way around the world!

Abby and I came back and I was thinking about going over to Nadine Circle as Annie needed my help to put the kitchen back together but we decided to do that tomorrow. I usually get up early... so we will do about three hours before church at 10am.

I did some packing and sorting and went to bed.

A Simple Friday!

I was up but not as early as I had wanted...

I got Mom Bea her breakfast and then just hung out with Emma, the sweet 'baby' girl of Andrew and McKenna.

At around 1:20, Abby and I went out for our usual short 8K run!

Alden had taken Mom Bea to her appointment and they came back at the same time we did. I made Mom Bea her usual lunch and she was hungry. So, I got her an apple and gave her jam to go with her toast.

After lunch, Abby, Mom Bea and I played Rummique for the entire afternoon!

Alden made dinner, but I was not hungry as I was snacking while playing!

While they were eating dinner, I finally took a shower.

Abby and Paige went out line dancing again tonight! Her final night of fun down here in San Diego!

The time has flown by!

It's Already Thursday!

I was up fairly early and the weather was nice and chilly.

I had coffee with flavor creamer... YUMMY! After fixing Mom Bea her blueberry pancake with whipped cream and chatting for a bit, Abby and I went to the thrift store. The sign I wanted to buy for Alden and Gina was gone... I did find a book for Mom Bea and another pair of cargo shorts for Alan. We went to the supermarket and bought several different flavors of creamer and came home.

Alden had gone to Chick-fi-lay and bought lunch which we all enjoyed.

Abby and I went for our run at 3:48 and did an hour, which was just a little over 8K. The sidewalks are bumpy. The hills are gnarly and actually some parts are dangerous as there is no sidewalk.

We were home and we took out leftovers and spread everything on the counter and people just helped themselves. I fixed Mom Bea some salad as that was all she wanted. We had bought old fashioned donut holes which everyone had some.

Tonight Alan called Mom Bea again. Abby and Paige went to 'arcade' for the evening fun time!

Tomorrow will be our last full day here in San Diego... The time has flown by!

This Is April 2nd!

I forgot to press "publish" yesterday... I don't know what I was doing last night after I had finished blogging.

So, it was an early morning and I did not sleep well...

After getting Mom Bea her breakfast and cleaning up, Abby and I went to the Thrift Store and bought 7US$ worth of books: 25cents for paperback and 1$ for hard cover. What a delight!

We were home by 12:15, as we had told Mom Bea that we'd go to Pancake House for lunch with Gina and Alden. What a huge platter of food the restaurants serve in America. We brought home plenty of leftovers!

We rested a bit and then Abby and I went for a short run-- only 8K. The hills around here are too gnarly!

We had dinner at home... actually, I was too full to eat. Paige came home and she and Abby went Line Dancing in Lakeside. They planned their week out: Wednesday and Friday nights for Line Dancing. Monday and Tuesday nights for church activities. Nothing for Thursday and we are leaving to head back up on Saturday!

Long Walk Today

I was up early and feeling still sore on my back!

The weather was fantastic... raining... So we decided not to go to Pancake House. Instead, Abby and I went for a long walk after hanging out to chat in the morning with everyone. That was so nice!

We finally left at 11:53 and walked until 4pm, hitting 18,000 steps. We stopped at Dollar Tree (another one), Walmart, Grocery Outlet, Am Vet and Empire. We bought things for Abby, Alan, Isaiah and I. Nothing was too heavy, so we were able to walk back. And the rain had stopped when we headed out!

Tonight, Abby and Paige went to the Young Adults Fellowship and Mom Bea and I played Rummique!

Tomorrow, I might be able to run!

Monday at Home!

What a great day...

My back was completely off... I don't know why. I didn't even run yesterday!

The drizzle was just spectacular... Yes, I wanted to be out there running... but there are no parks and the roads here are terrible.

OK... I was up early... and enjoyed my coffee and time with Jesus!

Paige and Josh took off for work. Abby was up and we hung the shower curtain. Mom Bea was up and we did breakfast together. I had to take an ibuprofen and I never knew that one of them would make me sleepy. But I was fast asleep for about 45 minutes. I woke up ready for a walk in the rain and that was what Abby and I did!

We were back perfectly timed to get Mom Bea her lunch: two eggs and a slice of toast with butter. She doesn't eat much. I noticed that there were so many small containers in the fridge so I sorted through that and decided to make whatever can be concocted! Abby and I enjoyed our lunch as well.

We sat and chatted until around 3:30 and Mom Bea went for a rest and Abby and I took off to Dollar Tree which was just down the street. We spent 65US$! We are bringing everything back to Taiwan... YIPPY! And we made sure that everything we got was only 1.25 each!

We got back and it was still quite early.

This evening, Abby went with Paige to the Young Adults Small Group. Mom Bea and I enjoyed dinner at home. She just had a bowl of soup and I had a salad!

I hope to run tomorrow! But I did hit my step goal!

Sunday at Home

(This was for March 30th! I forgot to hit "publish"!)

I was up early and had a nice breakfast!

Mom Bea came out to the dining room table for her breakfast and she has the same thing every morning: oatmeal with half a banana and raisins. We watched the Shadow Mountain Morning Service. I had already watched HOP Service.

When that finished, Abby, Paige and I decided to go for a quick walk and the weather was very delightful. When we got back, we just sat around and chatted until lunch time.

Mom Bea has two scrambled eggs with a piece of toast.  I showed Mom Bea how to watch Billy Graham via YouTube and then she went to take a nap.

I went for another short walk and hit 12,000 steps. It was soon dinner time. I'm not sure how the day flew by so quickly.

March 29th

Another great day... God sustained me!

I was up early and then after having a great breakfast that Annie made for me from fresh eggs laid from her chickens, I went out for a run. I wanted to go longer, but I didn't have time to go for 17K. I went 11 and finished the week with 54K.

I took a quick shower and Annie took me over to the condo. The remodeling is great but there is a lot of work to organize and clean! I told her that I needed 10 days to really help get things done and that won't happen until after our mom has passed. Then I have the freedom to be in the States for 10 days or longer. It was so much work to arrange everything just for this short visit. So... I will have to store things at the condo until I can really have the time to get things organized.

Abby and I left at 11:55 to head down to San Diego, first stopping to visit with Jamie, Daniel and Clara and then go to see Mom Bea. The traffic was so bad. We didn't get to Jamie's until 3:10. At 5:23 we had to leave to go to Alden's as Abby was planning to attend the Saturday service. I stayed with Mom Bea.

Alden had her dinner ready and we also played four games of Rummique. She won two and I won two. We also used nail polish and Sharpees to color in the numbers.

We tried to talk to Alan but he had to leave to go and pick up Isaiah and Fenny. Mom Bea wanted to get things updated from Skype to Google Meet! We will do that later this week.

Again, the LORD sustained me because I was so exhausted while driving down to San Diego. I thought I was going to fall asleep. Thankfully, I had Abby!

March 28th

Well... what a day!

I arrived last night and Annie picked me up and the LAX was its usual 'self' -- congested and crowded! I walked to 7E-F to wait for Annie instead of waiting at Bradley! We were home by 10:45. Abby woke up to greet me.

We did not work on unpacking, but chatted and finally went to bed by 12:15 or so.

I was up early... and the day flew by.

Annie had things for me to look at and while working on that, I wanted to get a mug of coffee and thought it would be so nice to have some flavored creamer. To Annie's utter surprise, three bags of groceries showed up at her door. Inside were eggs and other groceries... but there were also two bottles of lactose free milk and... ONE BOTTLE OF STARBUCKS CARAMEL MACCHIATO CREAMER! What?? I opened it and used it for my coffee and headed down to work on sorting. The doorbell rang and the neighbor down the street said that it was her groceries delivered to the wrong house. Well... I felt so bad as I had opened the creamer. She insisted that we keep it and that we don't pay for it and one full bottle of the lactose free milk. What a miracle!

At 9am, we went to Chase Bank. We needed a document notarized and to close my account. It turned out that we needed to come back again in the afternoon. So, we went home and I headed to Bill Jones' Memorial Celebration.

I had to drive and what a miracle again that we arrived early! What a delight to see everyone and to chat and catch up and share the many wonderful memories we all have with Bill.  And another miracle: some of Sue's friends are from First Chinese Baptist Church where I came to know Christ. We knew so many of the same people. And they used to live on Bartlett!

At 2:15 I had to drag myself away as we had an appointment at 3pm and those who are reading this, you know how I drive. And another miracle happened: Annie forgot that she had a MRI appointment so the notary public appointment had to be moved to 4pm. We got home at 2:57 and Abby and I went for a 5k run! I paced it faster than my usual so that we can be finished within 32 minutes and we did! Annie arrived just as we arrived! Another miracle. And we headed out!

We were finished and went to get Tacos for dinner! I was still so full from lunch which was at the Celebration Service!

Abby, Corinna and Kurtis headed out for Line Dancing. I finished sorting through everything and started packing up one suitcase!

I am quite alert still... but I did not have time to go over to see the newly remodeled condo.

In Taiwan... MIRACLES: Kathryn, a dear friend and sister in Christ, was able to get me a train ticket to Taitung as I wanted to go and cheer on the HOP "TEAM". Isaiah tried and didn't get it. Because of the Challenge Taiwan Event, tickets are sold out in less than 10 minutes! They wanted to go on Friday morning and couldn't get the tickets so they will have to go a day ahead. I wanted the late evening train which will arrive in Taitung at 12:15am on 4/26, the day of the competition. They can't do that as they need some rest as the event starts at 5am!

More miracles: The "old" house painting was completed. The helper came and got Mom up and off to the Day Care Center. Alan fixed the closet and put everything back in place. And I drove without getting lost! And God sustained me. Tonight KR and Annie and I ended the day with prayer together. KR said, "Thirty years ago I would have never imagined having prayer together like this!"

Miracles... after miracles... after miracles!

This was the opening passage from this morning's celebration! Grandpa Bill loved to sing and he is now in the presence of God, singing and shouting aloud to the Rock of Salvation in pure adoration!

Leaning On the Arms of Jesus

I was up early and just asked God to carry me through... I'm not sure if I will be blocking every day for the next 14 days... I hope so!

I got Mom up and out and rushed over to the old house. The young painter is the son of the owner. He started at 9:15 and was finished by 10:45! YIPPY! The crew will come tomorrow to finish up everything. Please pray!

I was home by 12:45 and made lunch in the rice cooker while I worked on getting things put away and packing the rest of my stuff. After my simple lunch, I laid down. My back is still not feeling well!

I called to get a guy over to the old house to look at the stove. I called to order a replacement lid for our hot water electric thermos. I gave away the suitcase and two blankets and a rocking chair. Yes... you read that correctly. Then I sorted and cleaned up the living room and set out Mom's clothes. I also got the meals for at least until next Wednesday!

Mom was back all too soon and when Alan came back, I went for a quick walk and then a shower.

We headed to the airport at around 8pm after I got Mom to bed...

Exhausted!

I was up early... but the hours in this day flew by... and my back went out...

Let me back track...

I got Mom up and out and helped with the recycling. At 10:05, I went out for my run, and it was hot!

The AC people came and the house was in an absolute mess! Before going out for my run, I baked for my Bible study. Thank you Jesus!

Alan was home so, I left at 12:35 and we had two new kids for the study!

The hours flew by. I finally left at 3:35 and went to visit a friend's new house. They haven't received all the furniture or appliances but it's so nice! I was home by 4:30 and it was a mad rush to get things back in order and that's why my back went out.  In between getting Mom to bed and putting everything back, my back slipped! I'm praying... I still have another full day tomorrow!

The house is somewhat back with two small piles of things which I will get to after I get back. I worked on getting myself packed and filling out the forms to get the refund. I wanted Isaiah to get that done, but he was being a pill bug... meaning not very helpful at all! He did step in whoever I got stuck! But it took about three hours to complete!

I told a sister that I will have to skip praying as it was already 10:30 when I stopped cleaning and I still had packing to do! I also did a load of laundry.

I will definitely sleep on the plane!

Abby has safely arrived in the States and Annie picked her up!

Different Sabbath!

I usually have my Sabbath on Thursday,. But because this week I have to be over at the old house for the painting job, I set today as my Sabbath!

I was up early and continued to pull things out of the back before getting Mom up and out!

When she left, I did a bit more work on the back and then went for my run. It was very warm!

Alan and I met back at 11am and we went to the old house to pull things away from the wall for the painters. Then it was Coco and lunch since we won't have our date on Friday. We bought Cantonese food and went home to enjoy the feast!

He worked on re-doing the shelves while I took a short nap and then went for a massage! YIPPY! He was home when Mom came back. I had dinner set already!

After Mom went to bed, we finished putting things back on one of the shelves! SUPER NICE! Tomorrow, the AC people will be here and then we can put everything else back. Our house looks like a bomb exploded as we have so many things out in the living room! I sorted and posted things to give away.
