IT CAN'T BE

NO WAY -- It's already September?   I didn't get to post for the entire month of August.

WHAT HAPPENED? 

Life happened!  Lots happened.

To summarize --
1.  I ran my first estate sale for Alan's mom. It was such a fun day as I think I gave away more things than I sold and I got to meet some wonderful people.
2.  We moved Alan's mom into a 55+ community in Rancho Bernardo.
3.  The house in Chula Vista had an offer which was not exactly what we wanted, but Mom was anxious to get the house sold. So, it is now in escrow.
4.  I cleaned my mom's house and helped to clean my sister's house plus her in law's house which was just sold.
5.  My daughter along with her two cousins went to the long anticipated One Direction Concert.
6.  We came back to Taiwan and the kids started back at school while we were all trying to get over jet lag.
7.  Finally, Daddy George ended up in the hospital overnight as he was having some health issues and he was able to get back home on August 31st.

And now, it's September 1st (stateside) and it's already September 2nd here in Taipei.  We are in search of a car to buy.  We are trying to get back to a routine of some sort.  And... yes, it's true... I will start teaching part time at Soochow University. My first day of class -- 9/11!
